I absolutely love the book of Revelation and thoroughly enjoy reading and studying it immensely! I am so looking forward to Jesus' return and millennial reign on earth!!! Then, eternity with Him, when time is no more.............can you tell, I'm kinda homesick.

I know that probably 97% of people read The Apocalypse (Revelation) with a preconceived notion. I know that I sure did.... for about four and a half decades.
What do you mean preconceived notion?
What is "just the opposite" in that picture? And why is it a "fabrication"? Seems to me that it represents the second coming of Christ.Even this picture is a manmade fabrication. Why are they changing Scripture to show things just the opposite of how Scripture describes them? (You did say you are a student of the book, right? So you know exactly what I am talking about.)

What warning does The Messiah The Living Word, say to Christians ?
Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
(If ANYONE tells you to avoid Christ's teachings, and then you listen to them, you've lost.
They are robbing you.
Read about the Churches in revelation who take a attitude they know best. Christ will fight against them. They wont be Christian for long after Satan is through with them )
Either listen to Christ's words and receive His blessings , or don't call yourself a Christian because only curses of the world remain for you.
Christ did not have time to waste for wayward Christians to undermined His efforts ; to bringing Gods Truth..
But that does not stop people from spreading confusion and lies in the name of Christ .
Mark 13:5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

What were you told the book of Revelation was about..... before you ever turned a page of the letter?
I learned that it was about Jesus' Second Coming.

The only difference I can see is that in the picture his entire robe is red, and the scriptures say it was dipped in blood, but who is to say that they did not 'Dip the whole robe?
How is this different from scripture?
The Rider on the White Horse
…13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is The Word of God. 14The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and pure, follow Him on white horses.
The sword is a metaphor for the Word of God -- the Sword of the Spirit (Eph 6: 17). So why are you so keen about a sword being pictured to make the depiction ridiculous? The Lord destroys His enemies with "the breath (or spirit) of His mouth" (2 Thess 2:8) according to Scripture. And nit-picking an artist's rendition is not really necessary. Now, tell me about the sword.
And those five words are all you had been told about the book before you opened it?

Well, good for you. I was told it was a description of a time called, the Endtimes. As far as I can remember.

You can always check out the history of it. Most of it already happened in the first century A.D.
As neither was changing Scripture to depict a scene of thousands of Christians, totally changing their supposed beliefs of loving their enemies (Jesus' explicit command to every Christian) to, instead, come riding in a gleeful, slaughtering army.
That will work too.
