you know whats so cool? when i met my husband we had no one in common & I kept running into him in different suburbs and locations over a 6 week period. met him at the beach, ran into him in pubs, bars, at the pne twice & then finally he said he just had to get my number (we had no one in common so there was no reason for this) I didnt have the Lord at that point in my life so i'm thankful Shawn decided to be unequally yolked.. and when i took the lords name in vain (as was just part of the way i talked, no thought process just words...) anyway he said WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? I'd never had anyone call me on my bad mouth... he had a harley in his living room roommates beer bottles on the coffee table and a picture of the last supper on the wall. I liked that... not the harley, the last supper! 19 years ago & we are absolutely in love with each other still... God blessed us but i was definitely not the package he would have put together on a list for himself being a believer. within a year though i was... So long story short... if the Lord keeps putting the same person in your path, check it out for it just may be whats right even if its contrary to your list. As far as the unequally yolked thing goes though, I dont think i'd recommend that but i'm sure glad it worked out for me! Now I have the 4 loves of my live! The Lord & Shawn & of course my precious boys. God bless you all in your search for ms. mr. right. Oh btw... for all you girls out there, the only advise i have to you is MEN DONT READ MINDS...If you need a hug tell him cause he's busy thinking about baseball and stuff & its a good idea to remind him of special occasions instead of waiting for him to fail to remember and translating that as him not caring about you.

she in my mind has to be a virgin, and no foreplay ever as i count that as not being a virgin, she has to have a big heart for the lord and follow his laws even if they mean going against society and i know there are very few out there that do that, n i dont know any, well 1 but shes taking and i know very few guys do that also, but i do so i beleve she should also, she should be able to have fun, a laugh but most of all be able to know when enough is enough as some girls love to keep going wen enough is enough

tHEY MUST BE A SOLD OUT cHRISTIAN for Jesus...
love to worship Him and pray and study the word and be growing spiritually
they must walk in love and be kind to me and others
we must share the same vision of our purpose in life and support each in doing so..
i have a heart for prophetic evangelism and i would like someone who has a similiar interest in that
they must not be afraid of the new things God is doing in the church
they must not be religious but be open minded
to how God works even if its not something we are used to and must be open to walking in that newness
they must be baptized with the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues
they have to open and upfront about everything. i want them to be my best friend and share the innermost things of my heart with them and them with me
i want to feel comfortable around them not like i have to be perfect
they must be responsible when it comes to work and money
they must seek God on all matters
they must be a leader and know they are the leader in the relatioship (no mule prodding or pulling) from me
they must share an interest in the world and whats going on and pray with me about it
they must love to hang out and chill
they must like the same things i like (art , poetry, museums) maybe not all the same things but similiar
must always be willing to take my side in opposition
have a great sense of humor
like to get drunk in the holy spirit

I remember when i was 16 i had a SUPER specific longish list. Over the years it dwindled down, especially when God told me that there are people out there who have made mistakes and we have no right to judge them for past mistakes. From my original list I have everything I wanted minus 2-3 of my major requirements.
To those of you waiting for marriage, the virgins out there who also want to marry a virgin. That is an awesome thing, continue to pray, God hears you, but I just wanna say, some very good hearted people have made mistakes and God made choose you to be there for one of those people. God may choose you to be with one of those people because you have that good unjudgemental heart.
I love my fiancee with all my heart and he isnt a virgin, but he is one of the most warm people i know. He made a few mistakes, we all do. If i was still the same person I was when I was 16, I would have never gave him a chance.. God set me straight.
I am not saying its wrong to be strict for yourself, but just keep an open mind.. God may have something in store for you that you may miss out on because you are waiting without an open mind and heart.

- He must be a navy SEAL, and sneak up on me while im sleeping at night and yell BOOOOOOOOOOO really loud, it will really make our marriage spicey
-he must be a christian and always point out my faults.
- Last but not least the one most important of them all.......... He must speak another lanugage so that i cant understand what he's saying...
