That is the whole torah, not just one or two parts of it. But it HAS been fulfilled in Christ,

Sooo?

Soooo?

So all has benn fulfilled? heaven and earth ahs passed ? and all things perefected?

NOPE.

not yet.

Matthew 5:17-18, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.”

“I did not come to destroy but to complete” (the Law and the Prophets)
“till the heaven and the earth pass away
“till all be done

These three must be before the Law can be done away/destroyed/abolished/etc.
“I did not come to destroy but to complete” (the Law and the OT Prophets would have to be fully completed)
“till the heaven and the earth pass away” (heaven and Earth would have to pass away)
“till all be done” (all prophecy would be done)

Have all these already happened?

Matthew 5:17-18, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete/fulfill.”

"but to complete/fulfill"

So I'm told yes He completed everything in the Law and the prophets, thus the Law (Instructions) of Yah is abolished/destroyed/done away.

So the first thing I find odd is the fact that He said 2 times, He DID NOT come to destroy the Law/prophets.… But lets look at "but to complete/fulfill" Has He completed everything written in the Law and the prophets that is for Him to compete? There is a prophecy that says Yahshua (Jesus) will return, He has not YET fulfilled/completed this;

Daniyl 7:13-14, “I was looking in the night visions and saw One like the Son of Enosh, coming with the clouds of the heavens! And He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. And to Him was given rulership and preciousness and a reign, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His rule is an everlasting rule which shall not pass away, and His reign that which shall not be destroyed.”

Revelation 19:13-15:, "And He was wrapped in a tallit dipped in blood, and the Name of Him is called: Yahshua; The Salvation of YHWH. And the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him upon white horses, And out of His mouth goes a sharp, two-edged sword, that with it He should strike the nations; and He will rule over them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty YHWH.”

Matthew 5:17-18, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah

Has heaven and earth passed away? Take a minute to look out your window to make sure....… No it has not? Heaven and Earth is still there? If it is still there, according to the Messiah, not me, according to Him, nothing has or will pass from the Law until this happens. Does Scripture speak of a time when this will happen or is it a figure of speech?

Zephaniah 1:14-18, “Near is the great day of יהוה, near and hurrying greatly, the noise of the day of יהוה. Let the mighty man then bitterly cry out! That day is a day of wrath, a day of distress and trouble, a day of waste and ruin, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of a shophar and sounding – against the walled cities and against the corner towers. And I shall bring distress on men, and they shall walk like blind men – because they have sinned against יהוה, and their blood shall be poured out like dust and their flesh like dung. It is your ancient religious tradition to reject God's Sabbaths.
we don't reject God's Sabbath. We consider it applied to Israel. What we reject along with Paul (ancient religious tradition?) is the idea that this has passed on to His church.

This traditions came from the mother of your church, the Catholics.
Lol you are wrong as usual.

Neither Jesus nor any of His People in the Old or New Testament followed this religious tradition.
Neither do we:)We follow Paul.

These are simply facts.
You mean lies spread by your cult?

Your gospel includes this and "many" other man made doctrines and traditions that cause a man to transgress the Commandments of God.
Such as 'believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved?

I don't believe in this gospel you preach, I believe in the Gospel the Bible preaches.
But not the real Bible.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Well that's you done for

The torah has not passed away. It is still there. But it HAS been fulfilled in Christ. Christians are not bound by the Torah. Read Romans lol.

I will not waste any more time on your nonsensical quotes.

You do know he is not the Author of the Peshitta right? He only produced a translation of it. The oldest existing Peshitta dates to the the 5th century. And there is scholarly backing that dates it's origin to the 1st Century. However the Mainstream does not support this.
you didn't read the article, and you don't know much about this "version" rstrats quotes, i can tell.

Amen brother! We are not fooled by his perverted gospel of salvation by “grace plus law, faith plus works” which is a “different” gospel or his straw man arguments/false accusations about us rejecting God’s Word for ancient religious traditions, which is just SDA/Hebrew Roots smoke and mirrors.

Jesus said He created His Sabbath for man, not just for Israel.

Lol you are wrong as usual.
You might look into the origin of Sunday worship, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Lent, your image of God/Jesus, forever burning hell for humans, everyone goes to heaven as soon as they die, etc. Not one of these religious traditions came from Jesus or His Teaching.

Neither do we:)We follow Paul.
You follow only select words of Paul you can use to promote Catholic doctrine, You don't follow His Teaching because he taught the same thing as Jesus and Moses.

And you may not know this, but Paul didn't die for you, Jesus did. A little respect for Him and His Words would be in order I think.

You mean lies spread by your cult?
Isn't it proper to support accusations with some kind of proof?

Such as 'believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved?
I don't think God meant you can create your own Jesus, then believe in him. I think He was speaking about the Jesus of the Bible who created us and all things including His Instructions you reject.

But not the real Bible.
The real Bible says there is only one faith and one Law and one God. And that Jesus followed this one Faith, this one Law and this One God. And He said if I also follow this one Faith, one Law, and one God that They will make Their abode with me. I not so sure about the long haired pretty boy you call Jesus. I find zero evidence he even existed in this one Word of Truth. As unpopular as it is, I think I will stick to the Words of the invisible God.

Well that's you done for
Maybe, I deserve nothing better to be sure. But He did make the promise and I do believe in Him.

The 1000 years in Revelation 20 is literal, and is the Seventh prophetic day of rest that remains for His people. The True Sabbath that the weekly Sabbath points to.

There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. Hebrews 4:9

God the Father and His Son have been working for the last 6000 years and will rest on this Sabbath for 1000 years with their people.

17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.” John 5:17

8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousandyears, and a thousand years as one day.

How did Jesus' death fulfill "Thou shall not commit adultery" or "Thou shall not take the Lord's Name in vain"?

That is true the millennial reign of Christ is literal on earth, and here is why.

Jesus said that until heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or tittle shall pass from the law until all is fulfilled.

Jesus fulfilled the law by being a sinless man,the perfect King, the perfect Prophet, the perfect High Priest, the perfect saint, the perfect sacrifice, and whatever He had to do to fulfill the law.

Jesus is the King, but He has not fulfilled the role of the perfect King on earth yet,for He came as a humble servant and not as a ruler.

Jesus said the kingdom will be restored to the Jews in the Father's time, which the Bible says God will make an end of all nations, their ruling governments, but not make a full end of Israel, and Jesus will rule out of Jerusalem along with His saints.

Jesus said He went away to prepare a place for the saints that where He is the saints may be also, the New Jerusalem, wherein dwells righteousness, and a place where sin has never been, and sin will never be,and rebellion will never come up again.

The Bible says the earth and heaven shall pass away and be dissolved, and God said He will make a new heaven and new earth, and the former heaven and earth shall not be remembered, nor come to mind, and Jesus said the former things have passed, and He makes all things new.

When Jesus fulfills the role of the perfect King on earth then all the law has been fulfilled on earth, and then heaven and earth shall pass away, and the saints will go to their final destination the New Jerusalem, and they shall remember nothing prior to the New Jerusalem for it is associated with sin and rebellion.

These scriptures testify that it is a literal 1000 years reign on earth.

Isa 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Isa 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Isa 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
Isa 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Isa 11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

When Jesus rules there will be peace on earth for the devil is not influencing the wicked at that time, and people will not war with people, and animals and people will get along, and animals and animals will get along, and the heathen and animals will be plant eaters, and the animals will be so tame that a child can lead a crocodile in one hand, and a lion in the other hand, and that animal will have no desire to hurt that child.

Also the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

But when has that ever happened in the past where there were no wars, and animals were plant eaters and tame, and everybody acknowledged the LORD and no other God,or religious figure.

It has not happened in the past, and it states that it is on earth,so it is a future literal millennial reign.

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Isa 13:4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
Isa 13:5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
Isa 13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
Isa 13:7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
Isa 13:8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Isa 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Isa 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

This is the time for God to end this sin business on earth,so He is allowing all people that do not love Him to follow the beast kingdom, and when they take the mark of the beast and attack Israel then God will come back with His all His saints and will defeat the world, and save Israel, and Jesus and the saints shall rule over the heathen that God spared at the battle of Armageddon.

Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Jesus shall be King over all the earth, and the heathen will acknowledge no God,or religious figure, but Jesus, and it states it takes place on earth.

Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
Zec 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

And the heathen that God spared that fought against Israel have to go up year after year to Jerusalem to worship the LORD.

That has never happened on earth in the past,so it is a future event and it is on earth.

Eze 39:23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
Eze 39:24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

The heathen that God spared at the battle of Armageddon will know that God was always on Israel's side, but they lost the kingdom on earth, and suffered somewhat, because of their sins and iniquities against God.

Eze 39:25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
Eze 39:26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
Eze 39:27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
Eze 39:28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
Eze 39:29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

God will gather the captivity of Jacob, the whole house of Israel, back to their land, and will leave none of the Jews in the nations anymore, and God will not hide His face from them anymore, and they will know the LORD their God,and will be in tbe truth from that time forward, and never fall out of the truth again.

But we see that Israel as a nation does not abide in the truth by accepting Jesus as their Messiah, for if this happened in the past then the Jews would of been in the truth from that time forward, and would be in the truth today.

Also if they say it refers to the Babylonian captivity of the Old Testament, then the Jews would of been in the truth from that point forward, and would of not rejected Christ, and no enemy could of scattered them in to the nations.

So this is a future event when God causes all the Jews to come out of the nations and go back to Israel, and brings them to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah, and restores the kingdom to them, and then the millennial reign of Christ will begin so Jesus can fulfill being King over the earth, and then when the reign is over the law is fulfilled, and heaven and earth shall pass away.

The man of sin,the New Age Christ, will establish peace in the Middle East, and it will pave the way for all Jews to go to Israel, and the Jews and the Gentiles will be separated.

The Gentile nations will come together and say Peace and safety as they try to establish peace on earth, and will operate by a ten horn kingdom, the world split in the ten sections with a leader in each section.

The ten horn kingdom will fail at obtaining peace on earth, and they will turn to the New Age Christ, and when they follow the beast kingdom, then repentance and salvation is no longer available to the Gentiles, and God will turn Israel as a nation to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah.

The beast and the world will attack Israel, and Jesus will come back with His saints and defeat the world, and save Israel, and the millennial reign will begin which is on earth.

The first attack on Jerusalem because they rejected Christ.

The second attack on Jerusalem because they accepted Christ.

Jesus said the Jew's house is left unto them desolate, and they will not see Him again until they say blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord, and when God turns Israel as a nation to the truth they will say blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord, and the kingdom restored to the Jews.

PART 1/5

Hi MMD this is a rebuttal of your post # 4050 for your consideration. It will be 5 detailed smaller posts show your interpretation of the scriptures is not biblical. If you disagree with any of these posts please address each of the posts and the scriptures in them. If you cannot you should BELIEVE and FOLLOW God’s Word. Sin will keep all who practice it OUT of God’s Kingdom.

The argument is that the Greek word "sabbatismos" means that there is Sabbath keeping that remains for the Christian.
Now the above statement is true. There is indeed a Sabbath keeping that remain for the PEOPLE OF GOD. I see from reading your post you interpret the Sabbath as something different to God however. The Scripture ONLY ever interprets the SABBATH REST as a DAY NOT Jesus. Please find me one scripture that says that Jesus is a Sabbath?

Yet we read in God's Word the following.........

Genesis 2
1,
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2,
And ON THE SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made.
3,
And GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY, and made it HOLY <the 7th day>: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

RESTEDH7673שָׁבַת shabath (shaw-ɓath') v.
to repose, i.e. to cease from exertion.{used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific)}[a primitive root]KJV: (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep Sabbath, suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away.

Some points to note from the scriptures...............

v1
God completed creation in 6 days and RESTED on the SEVENTH DAY
v2
God RESTED on the SEVENTH DAY
v3
God SET APART the SEVENTH DAY and made THE SEVENTH DAY a HOLY DAY
v2
The SEVENTH DAY is part of the FINISHED WORK of the CREATION WEEK

Let's now look at God's 4th commandment............

Exodus 20
8,
Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day
9,
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10,
But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
11,
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH <DAY>, and HALLOWED IT.

SABBATH H7676 שַׁבָּת shabbath
(shab-bawth') n-e. 1. intermission, a period of temporary rest.2. (specifically) the Sabbath, the SEVENTH DAY being the day of rest.[intensive from H7673]KJV: (+ every) Sabbath. Root(s): H7673
Yep God makes it very clear in Genesis 2:2-3 and also in Exodus 20:8-11 that that SABBATH = SEVENTH DAY

Now after reading all of the above do you really think that Jesus is the Sabbath? What does Jesus say.......

Mark 2
27,
And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN AND NOT MAN FOR THE SABBATH:
28,
Therefore the Son of man is LORD ALSO OF THE SABBATH.

Now if Genesis and Exodus tell us that SEVENTH DAY = THE SABBATH and Jesus says that THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN AND NOT MAN FOR THE SABBATH and he is LORD ALSO OF THE SABBATH, how can Jesus be the Sabbath when God's Word says the Sabbath is a DAY?Your intperpretation makes no sense and digs many holes for you. To believe that Jesus is the Sabbath according to Mark 2:27-28 you would have to interpret these scriptures as saying that Jesus made himself for MAN and that he is the Lord of Himself. Jesus himself makes it very clear my friend, there is no need to be in confusion here.......

Matthew 12:8
8,
For the Son of man is Lord even of the SABBATH DAY.

Ok now you have the two great witnesses agreeing with each other (Old and NEW Testament) but it is Jesus that makes it very clear here. It is Jesus that puts this argument to REST. Jesus agrees with the Old Testament scriptures that God's SABBATH IS A DAY!

BACK TO HEBREWS......

The context of HEBREWS 4 is God’s SABBATH DAY'S REST from the week of creation on theSEVENTH DAY of the creation week (Heb 4:1-5).

Those that did not enter into God’s rest (7th Day Sabbath) did not enter in because of their unbelief and disobedience (sins) to God’s Word. The Gospel was preached unto them but they did not believe it (Heb 4:2).

God did not give them His true rest because they did not BELIEVE and FOLLOW him (Heb 4:5-8). This is the same warning for those that disobey Him and do not follow His Word. Only those that believe and obey God’s Word enter into his SEVENTH DAY Sabbath rest (Heb 4:6, 9, 10-12).

So you can see Jesus is not a Sabbath. The Sabbath is the SEVENTH DAY of the Week. Jesus is Lord of the SEVENTH DAY SABBATH because he is the creator of this DAY (Heb 4:4; Mark 2:28).

There is no scripture in all of God’s Word that says that Jesus is a Sabbath only that he is the LORD OF THE SABBATH AND THE SABBATH IS THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK and he made it for all of mankind and commands us to keep it as a HOLY DAY as a memorial of creation (Mark 2:27-28; Gen 2:1-3; Ex 20:8-11)

The GREEK Word used in Hebrews 4:9 is Sabbatismos which is the derivative of Sabbaton meaning the REST of the SABBATH DAY as shown in the CONTEXT of Hebrews 4:1-4 which is in regard of entering into God’s REST of Genesis 2:1-3 which was given to ALL mankind (Mark 2:27-28).

Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it...

.............

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

PART 2/5

We can agree the Sabbath is the eternal rest of God. This is what the context clearly shows.
As has already been shown above the CONTEXT is referring to the creation week and God’s Sabbath and how God’s people in the wilderness did not enter into God’s rest because of UNBELIEF in his Word and DISOBEDIENCE.

Your interpretation of the scripture is the Jesus is this sabbath of eternal rest.

While it is true Jesus gives us rest by BELIEVING and FOLLOWING him (Matthews 11:8), NOWHERE in God’s WORD does it say that Jesus is a SABBATH and as shown above already the SABBATH of God’s 4th Commandment is only ever referred to as the SEVENTH DAY of the week.

In Jesus we rest by FAITH, but Jesus is NOT a SABBATH that he commands all mankind to keep as it is a HOLY DAY. Jesus is NOT a SABBATH he is the Creator of the SABBATH. God's Sabbath is the 4th Commandment of the 10 Commandments. Those that break it and teach others to do like any of the other 10 Commandment commit SIN. It is SIN that will keep ALL who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM.

Notice that the Greek word "sabbatismos" is used no where else in the Bible!

The GREEK Words for Sabbath are sabbaton and sabatismos; The origin of sabbatismos is from sabbaton. Let’s look at the meanings…

1, SABBATON;

Strong's Concordance;
σάββατον; SABBATON; sab'-bat-on Of Hebrew origin [H7676]; the Sabbath (that is, Shabbath), or day of weekly repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); by extension a se'nnight, that is, the interval between two Sabbaths; likewise the plural in all the above applications: - sabbath (day), week.

2. SABBATISMOS

1. Strongs Concordence; SABBATISMOS: a sabbath rest; Original Word: σαββατισμός, οῦ, ὁ; Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine; Transliteration: sabbatismos; Phonetic Spelling: (sab-bat-is-mos')
Short Definition: a Sabbath rest; Main Definition: a keeping of the Sabbath, a Sabbath rest.

2, NAS Exhaustive Concordance Word Origin from a derivation of sabbaton; Definition a sabbath rest NASB Translation Sabbath rest (1).

3, GREEK Lexicon - a Sabbath rest; σαββατισμός sabbatismos a sabbath rest as a derivative of sabbaton

4, GREEK Interlinear - So therefore there remains a sabbath rest to the people of God (This is the literal GREEK translation of the Hebrews 4:9)

5, Abbot Smiths Greek Lexicon of the New Testament *σαββατισμός, -οῦ, ὁ (<σαββατίζω, TO KEEP THE SABBATH, Exo 16:30, al.), A KEEPING SABBATH, A SABBATH REST: metaph., as in Mishna (Zorell, s.v.), Heb 4:9.

SABBATISMOS is taken from SABBATON meaning THE REST GIVEN IN GOD'S SEVENTH DAY SABBATH.

The CONTEXT of HEBREWS 4 is the SEVENTH DAY OF THE CREATION WEEK and how God's people did not enter into it because of the disobedience and unbelief. There remains a SABBATH REST therefore REST to the people of GOD is referring to those who BELIEVE and OBEY God's WORD enter into HIS REST.

The REST being spoken of here is God's SABBATH DAY'S REST through BELIEVEING and FOLLOWING God's WORD.

God's WORD also includes the 4th Commandment which is to be BELIEVED and OBEYED through FAITH that works by LOVE just like all the other 10.

LOVE is the fulfilling of God's LAW in those who BELIEVE (Romans 13:8-10; Romans 8:1-4; Romans 3:31). WE have REST by BELIEVING and FOLLOWING God’s WORD from Jesus (Matthew 11:8). However NOWHERE in God’s WORD does it say Jesus is a Sabbath. The ONLY definition of God’s Sabbath of the 4th Commandment is that it is the SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK (Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11; Matthew 12:8; Hebrews 3-4).

Amazing that Sabbatarians would suggest that this is the word for "keeping the weekly Sabbath" when it is never used anywhere else, in spite of the many references to Jews keeping the weekly Sabbath in the New Testament!

W. E. Vine, Greek Dictionary on "Rest" proves the Sabbatarian argument wrong:

A2. KATAPAUSIS (2663), in classical Greek, denotes a causing to cease or putting to rest; in the N.T., rest, repose; it is used (a) of God's rest, Acts 7:49; Heb. 3:11, 18; 4:1, 3 (twice), R.V. (1st part), "that rest" (the A.V., "rest," is ambiguous), 5, 11; (b) in a general statement, applicable to God and man, 4:10.

A4. SABBATISMOS (4520), a Sabbath-keeping, is used in Heb. 4:9, R.V., "a Sabbath rest," A.V. marg., "a keeping of a Sabbath" (akin to sabbatizoµ, to keep the Sabbath, used, e.g., in Ex. 16:30, not in the N.T.); here the Sabbath-keeping is the perpetual Sabbath rest to be enjoyed uninterruptedly by believers in their fellowship with the Father and the Son, in contrast to the weekly Sabbath under the Law. Because this Sabbath rest is the rest of God Himself, 4:10, its full fruition is yet future, though believers now enter into it. In whatever way they enter into Divine rest, that which they enjoy is involved in an indissoluble relation with God.

B2. KATAPAUO (2664), akin to A, No. 2, used transitively, signifies to cause to cease, restrain, Acts 14:18; to cause to rest, Heb. 4:8; intransitively, to rest, Heb. 4:4, 10. See Cease, A, No. 6, Restrain.
You do know my friend that Vines is a man and in his dictionary he is using his own interpretation of God's Word and the passage you quoted from Vines is NOT God's Word right?

You seem to be mixing up two different words used for REST; sabbatismos, Heb. 4:9 and katapausis rest (Heb. 3:11, 18; 4:1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, and 11),

“Sabbath rest” (sabbatismos, Heb. 4:9). Sabbatismos rest is to be distinguished from the more frequently used katapausis rest (Heb. 3:11, 18; 4:1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, and 11), which means “resting place” or “calming.” Sabbatismos, which is derived from either the noun sabbaton (Strong’s) or from the verb sabbatizō (Vine’s and Moulton’s), means “Sabbath observance” or “Sabbath kind of rest” (Bauer, Arndt, & Gingrich). The verb form sabbatizō is is used in the LXX to mean “keep the Sabbath” (Exo. 16:30; Lev. 23:32; 26:34; 2 Chr. 36:21)

CONTEXT and putting it all together…

v1 Let us fear therefore while the promise of entrance into His rest stands, lest a man of you should be found who comes short of entering.
v2 For we also were evangelized as also [were] they; but it did not benefit those who heard the word because it was not joined with faith to those who heard it.
v3 But we who believe are entering into rest just as He said, “As I swore in my anger, they shall not enter My rest, for behold the works of God have been from the foundation of the world.”
v4 According to what He said about the Sabbath, “God rested on the seventh day from all of His works.”

Verse 4 is an explanation of how “the works of God have been from the foundation of the world.” In verse 5, the author returns (“And here again”) to the primary thought from Psalm 95:11 about entering katapausis

v5 And here again He said, “They shall not enter My rest.”
v6 Because therefore there has existed an opportunity for each person to enter and those who were first evangelized did not enter in that they were not persuaded,
v7 Again he appointed another day from after many times just as, that from above, it is written that David said, “Today, if you will listen to His voice, harden not your hearts.”
v8 If Joshua son of Nun had given them rest, would he have not spoken from afterward about another day?

Joshua did not give Israel rest, and Hebrews tells us why. Even though the Gospel was preached to the children of Israel in Joshua’s day, it did not profit them, because they did not receive it with faith (Heb. 4:2).

v9 So then it remains for the people of God to keep the Sabbath.

A paraphrase of the final verse would be: This is why it remains for the people of God to keep the Sabbath.

v10 Whoever enters His rest, he also has rested from his works as God did from His own.
v11 Let us take pains therefore to enter to that rest, lest we fall in the manner of those who were not persuaded.

V12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Only those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God’s WORD enter into God’s rest.

Matthew 11
28,
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

This is why in many bible translations use the word REST in Hebrews 4:9 in translated SABBATH rest or a keeping of the Sabbath...........

New International Version There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;

English Standard Version So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,

PART 3/5

If every man from Adam to Moses kept the Sabbath, why is the Hebrew word for the weekly Sabbath found in the ten commandments, never found in the book of Genesis?
Why would it need to? The Hebrew word used in the 4th Commandment in Exodus 20:8-11 is in direct reference to Genesis 2:1-3 as shown in the fist section of this rebuttal to your post. Please read the first response above comparing Genesis 2:1-3 with Exodus 20:8-11.

The Hebrew word for RESTED in Genesis 2:1-3…

RESTED H7673 שָׁבַת shabath (shaw-ɓath') v.to repose, i.e. to cease from exertion.{used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific)}[a primitive root]KJV: (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep Sabbath, suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away. Some points to note from the scriptures...............

v1 God completed creation in 6 days and RESTED on the SEVENTH DAY
v2 God RESTED on the SEVENTH DAY
v3 God SET APART the SEVENTH DAY and made THE SEVENTH DAY a HOLY DAY
v2 The SEVENTH DAYis part of the FINISHED WORK of the CREATION WEEK

Let's now look at God's 4th commandment uses the Hebrew word which is still shabbath which comes from shabath in Genesis 2:1-3.

SABBATH H7676 שַׁבָּת shabbath (shab-bawth') n-e. 1. intermission, a period of temporary rest.2. (specifically) the Sabbath, the SEVENTH DAY being the day of rest.[intensive from H7673]KJV: (+ every) Sabbath. Root(s): H7673

Yep God makes it very clear in Genesis 2:2-3 and also in Exodus 20:8-11 that that SABBATH = SEVENTH DAY REST which is EVERY SEVENTH DAY. The Hebrew word used in Exodus 20:8-11 is the INTERVALS between the Sabbath REST of GENESIS 2:1-3. EVERY SEVENTH DAY is God’s SABBATH.

PART 4/5

Why is no one before Moses ever being told to keep the Sabbath? Why are there no examples of anyone keeping the Sabbath?
Now my friend this is a presumption on your behalf. Where does it say in God’s Word that no one was following and keeping God’s LAWS before Moses? Now let’s look at God’s WORD…..

GODS COMMANDMENTS BEFORE EXODUS 20

Genesis 26
5,
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

It seems like others were also following God…

Genesis 5
24,
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Genesis 6
8,
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9, These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

God destroys mankind because of SIN which is breaking God’s LAW (1 John 2:4; Romans 7:7; Romans 3:20; James 2:11)......

Genesis 6
5,
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only EVIL CONTINUALLY.
6, And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7, And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8, But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

What are these CONTINUAL EVIL THOUGHTS?

Matthew 15
19, For out of the heart proceed EVIL THOUGHTS, MURDERS, ADULTERIES, FORNICATION, THEFTS, FALSE WITNESS, BLASPHEMIES
20, These are the things which defile a man:

Evil is breaking God's Commandments in thought and actions.

Cain was punished by God for Murder......

Genesis 4
8,
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9, And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
10, And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
11, And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
12, When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
13, And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

links to....

1 John 3
12
, Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13, Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14, We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15, Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

The Mosaic laws for remission of sin (SACRIFICIAL SIN OFFERINGS FOR BREAKING GOD’S LAW) were also practiced BEFORE MOSES....

Genesis 4
4,
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering.

Noah also offered sin offerings……

Genesis 8
20
, And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar

SIN is the transgression of God's LAW (10 Commandments) please read Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and James 2:11. God's LAW gives us a KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS (Romans 3:20) SIN offerings were only practiced in the OLD Covenant for the remission or forgiveness of SIN (Breaking God's 10 Commandments)

If God's people did not have God's LAW why are they offering SIN offerings to God if these laws were only known about BEFORE Mt Sinai?

Abraham and his son practiced and knew about sin offerings...

Genesis 22
7,
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8, And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Exodus 10
25,
And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.

Yep once again before MOSES...

LETS LOOK NOW SPECIFICALLY AT THE 4th COMMANDMENT SABBATH

The Sabbath was also kept by our first parents and also others BEFORE Sinai. The reason God gave the 10 Commandments again was being His people had been slaves in Egypt for 430 years (Exodus 12:40). God delivered his people from Egypt (the World) and needed to re-teach them his ways which were mostly forgotten by this time.

So yep God's LAW and the laws for remission of sin and burnt offerings of the OLD Covenant were indeed practiced BEFORE Sinai.

The Sabbath was made at the 7th Day of the creation week and given to Adam and Eve. Let's look at the scriptures........

Genesis 2
1,
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2, And ON THE SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made.
3, And GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY, and made it HOLY <the 7th day>: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

RESTED H7673 שָׁבַת shabath (shaw-ɓath') v.to repose, i.e. to cease from exertion.
{used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific)}[a primitive root]KJV: (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep Sabbath, suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away. Some points to note from the scriptures...............

v1 God completed creation in 6 days and RESTED on the THE SEVENTH DAY
v2 God RESTED on the THE SEVENTH DAY
v3 God SET APART the THE SEVENTH DAY and made THE SEVENTH DAY a HOLY DAY
v2 The THE SEVENTH DAY is part of the FINISHED WORK of the CREATION WEEKLet's now look at God's 4th commandment............

Exodus 20
8, Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day)
9, Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10, But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT.

Root(s): H7673Now who did God make the 7th day a Holy day for? Is he making that day a Holy day for himself? Of course NOT God is already Holy. He has made the day for MANKIND as a HOLY DAY.

Let’s see what Jesus says…………

Mark 2
27
, And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, and not man for the Sabbath.
The Sabbath was made for WHO? The Sabbath was made for MAN. So here we have the God of creation telling us why the 7th Day was made a Holy day. It was made for MANKIND

STRONGS Greek MAN G444 ἄνθρωποςanthropos (an'-thrō-pos) n.
1. (literally) man†-visage (i.e. a man-faced being, a man who has visibly come of age).
2. (concretely, in Hebrew) a clay being (a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). 3. (generically, in English) a human being. 4. (indefinitely) a certain man (i.e. someone).
[from G435 and ops “the countenance” (from G3700)] KJV: certain, man Root(s): G435, G3700

So the Sabbath was made for Human beings; clay beings (we are made out of the dust); male and female

So God made the SEVENTH DAY of the week a HOLY day and blessed it for MAN this now ties in very nicely with the 4th commandment (Exodus 20:8-11) God says that it is a specific day which is the SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK that he has made to be a HOLY DAY.

Jesus says it was made Holy in the creation week for mankind. All scriptures connect and are in harmony. Genesis where God made the Day a HOLY DAY;

God’s 4th commandment to His people that says to REMEMBER the Sabbath day to KEEP it a HOLY DAY and Jesus stating that the Sabbath was made for MANKIND (Human beings; male and female).

Now if God made the Sabbath for mankind then obviously Adam and Eve had the Sabbath the GREEK Word for MAN G444 ἄνθρωποςanthropos (an'-thrō-pos) n. is a clay being(a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). There is only two people made out of clay (dust) and that is Adam and Eve.

Yep God's Sabbath given to mankind in the Garden of Eden and made in the Creation WEEK.

Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE it. Those that do not BELIEVE God's Word are UNBELIVERS and UNBELIEVERS have no part in God's Kingdom.

...............

PART 5/5

Sabbatarians say Isaiah 66:23 is proof that Christians will observe Sabbath now, and in the new heaven. Does Isaiah 66:23 teach that Christians should observe the Sabbath? If Isaiah 66:23 teaches that we will keep the Jewish Sabbath in heaven, then it also teaches we will keep the Jewish New Moon festival in heaven! "And it shall be from new moon to new moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all mankind will come to bow down before Me, says the Lord” Isaiah 66:23. Let's be consistent. Sabbatarians have the Jewish new moon festival observances in heaven based on the above text! If you insist on Sabbath observances based on Isaiah 66:23, they also need to observe new moons as well. Yet from what I hear, most Sabbatarian’s don’t observe new moons. hmm.. That’s inconsistent! Are New moons and Sabbath keeping a requirement for Christians based on the New Covenant terms? NO.
It seems you do not KNOW the purpose of what the NEW MOONS were for in the OLD Testament and the NEW EARTH to come.

The annual calendar is set by the alignment of both the monthly lunar cycle and the annual solar cycle. The lunar cycle sets the seasons based on the solar equinoctial cycle. The moon and sun together are governing signs. God’s Sacred Year begins with Aviv or Nisan (Exodus 12:1-2; Deuteronomy 16:1).

The NEW MOONS set the dates and the times for all the annual festivals of the OLD Covenant. Many of which have been fulfilled pointing to the life, death, resurrection and ministration of Jesus our lamb of God and great high priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary which was a copy of the earthly. When all things are made NEW in the NEW HEAVENS AND EARTH all things are changed. This is what you left out in v22….

Isaiah 66
22, For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23, And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

The CONEXT here being spoken of that you left out is the NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH this is NOT referring to the OLD HEAVEN and EARTH we live in today.

*Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
Yep these are the scripture this OP is discussing. Did you want to address the OP now instead of just quoting the scriptures the OP and the scriptures in it that disagree with your interpretation? So far you haven’t even bothered to address the OP. If you cannot I guess you can always pray about it at home.

Will there be Levital Priests in the new heaven? If Isa 66:23 teaches that we will keep the Jewish Sabbath in heaven, then it also teaches in Isaiah 66:21 that the Levitical priests will be in heaven, because it is also mentioned. Sabbatarians have Levitical priests in heaven Isaiah 66:21? What happened to the Levitical Priesthood under the New Covenant terms?
You do indeed err not knowing the scriptures or the power of God. Have you not read in the NEW Testament….

1Peter 2
9, But ye are a chosen generation, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD A HOLY, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

and again……

Revelation 1
5, And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

and again……

Revelation 5
7, And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8, And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, WHICH ARE THE PRAYERS OF THE SAINTS.
9, And they <SAINTS> sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED US TO GOD BY YOUR BLOOD out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10, And HAS MADE US UNTO OUR GOD KINGS AND PRIESTS: AND WE SHALL REIGN ON THE NEW EARTH.

and again……

Revelation 20
6, Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the FIRST RESURRECTION: on such the second death hath no power, but THEY SHALL BE PRIESTS OF GOD AND OF CHRIST, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Priesthood changed so did the law. Hebrews 7:12 - For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also. The Old and New Covenants do not mix. Sadly, it's obvious that you are unable to see anything beyond your SDA church indoctrination.
You do not seem to know what the OLD and the NEW Covenants are. If you do not KNOW what the OLD and NEW Covenants as shown in your posts then you are building your house on sifting sand and as is seen in this post great has been the fall of it.

This is sad for you my friend sad indeed because you indeed break God’s LAW and teach against to do the same. These are those who Jesus calls least in God’s Kingdom because they do not enter it.

………………..

Go go ahead and post the scripture whereby any apostles commanded the Church to keep the Sabbath in a certain way.

Not one single scripture in the New Testament about how the Church is to observe the Sabbath under the New Covenant, yet you claim people will be rejected from God’s kingdom for not keeping the Sabbath the way you do.

Unless you post a scripture from the New Testament that instructs the Church to observe the Sabbath in a specific way, you are the one teaching a man made Gospel, whereby we are justified by keeping the Sabbath. JPT
Sorry friend we may need to agree to disagree on your interpretation of the scriptures

Why would Jesus need to give another commandment to keep God's 4th Commandment again in the NEW Testament when God had already given his people the 10 Commandments in the Old Testament ahd they had been keeping God's Sabbath for 1000's of years already?

You cannot disregard the OLD Testament scriptures that are the foundation of the NEW Testament scriptures. The NEW Testament is built on the Old Testament and together they make up the Word of God. Do you disagree?

The scriptures shown earlier from the NEW Testament in regards to God's Sabbath, build on the OLD Testament Scriptures (Exodus 20:8-11) with Jesus teaching us that;

God's Sabbath was made for Mandkind and he is the LORD and the God of CREATION (Mark 2:27-28).

He also teaches us that it is lawful to do GOOD on the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56) and we are not to be budened by man made teaching around God's Sabbath because the Sabbath was made for mankind to be a delight not a buden.

Jesus is our example who kept the Sabbath as well as all those who followed him (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

Unless you do not BELIEVE what Jesus say?

Now if Jesus taught us in the NEW Testament that he is the God of Creation and the Lord of the Sabbath day and that it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath and he and all his disciples kept God's Sabbath according to God's 4th Commandment and breaking any of God's LAW is SIN. You would need to be pretty foolish not to believe the Word of God. SIN will keep all who practice it out of God's KINGDOM.

Those that break God's Commandments and teach others to do so are called least in the KINGDOM of HEAVEN because they do not ENTER it.

God's Sabbath is the Lord's Day and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who calls us.

Walk trough the valley
Met people from: The 12 tribes, they follow the law of Moses including not eating what was unclean before Jesus cleansed the whole earth. "The whole earth is filled with the glory of the Lord." Unlike you they were quite peaceable and did not come across as to conclude the whole law had to be done away with for us not to judge one another any more. Honestly they still scare me as well but you scare me from the law more. They live in community and appears appealing, had you not scared me so well I may have liked them still, but in the end we need to be thankful for where we are and move on, we can't stand still, if we do we are left behind. I suppose in a sense it's advising you to quit your job and get on with life, you can look them up on google, though I understand the fears of letting go and advising you to quit advises you not to: much like you advise us not to be under the law, but you have accomplished your job sparing us from "who has bewitched you" and should feel free to move on wen you need to, no harm done after all, you helped some of us to think it through.

Now my friends,

By God's GRACE all your questions have been answered with God's Word. Please, I pray, you may consider your position carefully and prayerfully as your salvation depends on it. Those who practice KNOWN SIN will NOT enter into God's KINGDOM.

SOME QUESTIONS ON THE SABBATH FOR YOUR PRAYERFUL CONSIDERATION

Where is the scripture in God's WORD that says...........

1.
That God's 4th commandments 7th day Sabbath has been abolished?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12.
That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19.
That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

If you cannot answer any of the above, who should we obey God or man? Something to seriously pray about my friend.

Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE...

Revelation 1- John said " I was in the Sprit on the Lord's day " he did not say Sabbath. the greek word used for this is the ONLY time it was used in the N.T., showing John , a jewish man, did not say or mean Sabbath.

and, since there is no N.T. verse that says believers are to keep the Sabbath, we cannot disprove what is not there.

which is what your cult does- you have a premise that something exists that does not exist, and want others to rebuke something that is not there. you cobble together verses , yanked out of context, write your opinion commentary, sprinkle a little ellen white magic, and produce Sabbath keeping for believers.

so, there is your answer. do you care to answer any questions about ellen white and the 28 points of being a sda?

What do you think the New Wine is?
The Old Wine is the Mosaic Law which if we try to enter Heaven by is Death to us all.

The New Wine is the Gospel of Jesus Christ in whom if we believe we will go to heaven of God's Grace.

our cat Boris died.

there were laws in the house - no instigating fights with Tiger, use the litterbox or go outside, do not eat lilies, don't drop your food in the water dish, no biting, all birds are to be eaten in the yard, never in the house, etc.

none of the laws were abolished, repealed, or made void. no laws passed away. not a single one, not even a part of one.

but Boris is not subject to any of them anymore.
