I would be interested to hear some scriptures that say God forces His will on us.

Hi, rick.
'Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven'. But God is so merciful that He ask us to come to with prayers and supplication, so we can get our heart's desire.
Yet, what God says is final. Whether one likes it or not, His will will be done. The good news is, His will is for all things to work for the good of all who love Him.

I'd have to respectfully disagree.. Salvation is readily available to all who would accept Christ (John 3:16). It was God's decision to provide it, because its not His desire that anyone should perish (2 Peter 3:9). The ball is in our court now. And I don't believe God forces anyone, He guide's, directs, encourages, and leads, but the ultimate decision is ours.. jmo

I’ve been in this situation, praying so hard for them for decades. And this is what I learned... On my part I should never pronounce it too late for them as long as they are still here, and I can be an encouraging influence, but I cannot not choose for them since they have their own freewill. And my time and efforts should be directed more towards others who might listen.
