As horrible as this sounds I'm planning on moving out when i graduate and never looking back. My little brother is planning on moving with my dad when my dad leaves cause he said he can't take it anymore. So I'm not sure if this is a good idea. I am saving up money, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea not to plan to look back. I really wish i could not look back and forget everything (I know that's not possible). So I'm calculating how much it will cost to live on my own. Cause I've determined the abuse isn't something that's going to kill me I can take it and my brother is being protected.

Lol, I'm sorry I haven't read all of this... That really must suck =/ And when you say she hits your brother and stuff, isn't that abuse??? I dunno what to say =(

Buuutttt on a side note, I'm going to UTD this fall lol (University of Texas at Dallas, not sure how you can get UTD out of University of North Texas lol), so if you DO happen to end up following your mother and go there, then I'll be there tooooo! =D Unless there's two different UTDs, then double dangit >=(

well you can think me harsh...but coming from a home of abuse myself....the harsh reality is someone needs to report that mother.....it makes me very angry not at the victim but the parent that is abusing the kids....you dont have to like me for it and i make no apologies.....

tryingtofindhim----i know you are scared because it means going into the system.....but you would be alot safer there then in a home where you are being abused and your brother is being abused....you will be leaving soon to go to college and that will leave ur brother behind and he needs to be in a safe enviroment....plz do the right thing and turn that horrible woman in before she takes her abuse to far and does something that goes to far and it will be too late......

well, i talked to my dad and he's taking my brother when I leave so i think everything will be okay for now but thanks :) I'm sorry you were abused. :(

I would go get a job any ways. You shouldn't be treated like in any kind of way or form. I fyou want to go to college, get out there and go get some money. You're to young for this to be happening to you. Feel free to msg me anytime you want to talk.

i know an aussie girl who moved out of home BEFORE she graduated high school

for similar reasons

they make it fairly easy to do here

oh hon i know where your at... i went to uni (college) to get away from my mum as well, who by the sounds of it is really similar to yours... Unfortunatly i went to uni for all the wrong reasons and it didn't last long and i went back home... i've run away from her now but she still tries to control me... you are so brave for reporting her, im very proud of you :) you don't deserve any of the crap that she's dishing out to you. Your the daughter of the Most High! a princess! just stay strong

It sounds like you will be out of their soon, so God will bless you, I know, I had and still have a hard nosed, hard , family.

when you go to college you will have new experiences, and you live your life, and the Lord will change your Mom, and hopefully you will see it happen

Seriously, Abilene Christian University is a good college. My sister went there. And a nursing degree is hot hot hot right now compared to a degree in business where you can join the ranks of the unemployed directly after graduation.

The abuse sucks and she is not being safe with her words and behavior it sounds like.

Don't deal with it like I did: Three days after high school graduation I walked down and joined the military as an E1 recruit and was in bootcamp a couple of days later. Strive to see your dream as a nurse from a good Christian college like ACU a reality. It's a really really good one. Peace and God bless you.
