Rome wasn't built in a day.

Unlike Obama Trump actually gets on the phone to companies to make his pitch - i believe he was doing this before he even took office - sounds like he just can't help himself.

Unemployment is already gone down - big time for blacks and Hispanics.

Reducing the bureaucracy is one of his official goals - as a businessman i'm sure he had his fill of how stifling it can be. Sounds like he's already making good progress in this endeavor.

Also he has a major policy of removing 2 business strangling regulations for every new one. I believe he stated at SOTU in reality it was approaching a ratio of 20:1 If that's not streamlining bureaucracy then what is ?

Looks to me like he's setting the stage for a lot of factories.

-- .- --. .-
Those executive orders are just going to be undone by the next liberal President and whoever that screwball will be will probably make a 40:1 change.

But that isn't creating jobs. Entrepreneurs create jobs not the US President. Reducing job killing regulations helps but it is a band aid. We need the Republican majority congress to ram through legislation now, while we have this short window, so the next liberal president can't put regulations back. The EPA, HUD, Dep of Education, and all the rest of the administrative agencies need to be decimated now.

The liberals will stop at nothing to stymie Trump at every turn. Lie, cheat, utilize a dishonest press ... use every sinister method at their disposal ... and then criticize him and point their fingers.
Which is exactly what the repubs have done for the last 8 years. Karma really sucks don't it

You err in lumping Trump into the historical mix of today's world of U.S. politics ... and politicians. He was never a politician and still isn't. This was his appeal that got him elected. Obama on the other hand was a smooth-talking junior senator from the most corrupt state (politically speaking) in the union. Obama did whatever was necessary to secure the ticket. Trump never flinched nor wavered in saying what he would try to do if elected. American politics dictates that one has to run for one of the two big parties simply because an independent wouldn't stand a chance getting elected. Trumps leanings are to the right .. thus the Republican party. But he's hardly embraced by them, agreed ? He's using the only avenue available to him to make any meaningful changes. You loathe Trump ? What is it that he's attempting to accomplish that goes against your beliefs ?

I don't loathe Trump, and I actually do hope the guy succeeds. And he has done some good things that needed doing. But there's a serious disconnect ... you don't drain the swamp by stocking it with creatures from the black lagoon. Evidently we've all forgotten what these very people did to the world in 2008... it was so long ago! His healthcare plan and tax cuts? For the rich, throwing a bone to working class to placate and shut them up. He sold himself to the middle guy but he's not for the middle guy. He's for his rich corporate cronies, just like Obummer was for his enabling liberal leaches. But you are right, as long as people continue to buy into the pile o cr@p both sides are selling, there won't be a viable alternative in the middle. Heck no one even acknowledges a middle any more.

And I understand that we all were/are so desperate for change that we'd accept change for the ... well, same. Trump won because he projects difference. But he's no different. Just another stepping stone to the failure of the world and it's one ruler replacement.

In that sense I guess I should really support him. I'm tired of this all and ready to cut to the chase. Go Trump!

Out of curiosity, just who WOULD you support as a "fix-it" president? Seriously, what person do you see that would satisfy you as a "good president" ?

I heard today that the actual number of those Trump wants to give amnesty to isn't 1.8 million but closer to 4 million. That's 4 million instant Democrat voters which will insure we will never have Republicans in a majority or as President ever again. The wall will take years and be stonewalled by the Democrats as they have always done before but the amnesty begins immediately.

Now would you Trumpsters, you Trump worshippers, would you have voted for Trump if he promised in his campaigns to make 4 million illegal immigrants instant amnesty and a path to citizenship? I bet you probably would. He said he could murder someone in the street and you all would still vote for him.

Where did you hear that from?

I wouldn't be shocked if he used it as some bargaining chip, but it seems mighty high.

Best thing you could do is turn off Certified Not News and then study the word sarcasm and facetious......

I didn't vote for Trump. I wrote in Ted Cruz.
So according to you that makes me a liberal I suppose.
Makes you a fool and on the wrong side of history.
Ted Cruz is a status quo establishment tool,
and besides that, he couldn't have beat Hilliar.
If you don't think Trump's conservative and good for the country,
you're just plain not paying attention, and frankly you ain't too bright.

He heard it from the new news organization called Cracker Jack News published by a subsidiary of National Enquirer

I think he may be mistaking a negotiating tactic for a clear policy proposal.

Trump has a tendency to feint Left in the sausage-making process. It's done to keep Democrats talking, light a fire under Republicans, and manipulate the media/public opinion.

No I heard it too. I actually like the plan to vet these people and give them a chance to try for citizenship, with limitations of course. I actually think that there should be stronger limitations than what President Trump offered. 12 years is too long and I think that it should happen after we secure our borders.

It isn't that bad of concession IMO.

If Trump were a conservative and had any balls this is what he should be saying instead of amnesty:
