I got this question in a survey..
Here's the question

Do you believe you’ve experienced what psychologists would call a “quarter-life crisis” in your twenties or thirties?

This is the feeling that you aren’t satisfied with where you are in your life and time is running out. This can cause anxiety or depression.

As a Christian what should be our response?

Re: Do you believe you’ve experienced a “quarter-life crisis” in your 20's or 30's?

Yep lol

That's what I called it myself after I turned 30.

I realised I haven't "done anything" with this life I've been given in regards to work.
For some reason I've always been afraid to pursue my interests and I allow procrastination to set in.
Even now as a Christian I find I struggle to do the things I have desires in my heart to do because I think, is this God's will for me? When I go in prayer, ask and hear nothing I get anxious.
I'm slowly getting over that but yeh...So the Christian response? I don't know? Continue to submit your life to God, do what is right, submit your plans to God and see what He will do.

Are you asking because you feel the same way?

Woah..thank you for your response bro.
Yes I feel the same way..asking for the right direction to my career..
But now I am really learning to allow God to move freely in my life..

Thank you again for sharing your story :)

Re: Do you believe you’ve experienced a “quarter-life crisis” in your 20's or 30's?

Im going through a real midlife crisis now. I already threw my whole life away and started this completely insane life. Nobody knows what came over me or what I have been doing. It even has me moving to another state and making life long investments. Im having fun and before this thread I thought gave up and lost it and started chasing my real dreams, but maybe thats the same thing.

Thank you for sharing bro. Let's just keep asking God.

I believe it's God's way to re-direct us.

I can definitely identify with the feeling of "I'm not getting any younger...what do I have to show for my life??"
I feel like that a few times a week....
