Father God we pray for TimM7's dad let you please remove the pain and heal his body. Lord let there be no problem in back and stomach, please bless him Lord. Lord let him go to doctor and find out the problem and do his treatment. Lord bless TimM7's dad with your healing and grace, in Jesus loving name, Amen!

I'm an expert on this one. That is the very part of the back that caused me to become disabled with "stomach problems." And, since they refused to acknowledge what the problem was for 15 years, (a pinched nerve caused by moving me off the operating table after having my gall bladder removed), it was too late to unpinch the nerve by the time they admitted the problem.
It hurts right under his ribs clear to his waist, and it hurts inside and out, right? (I get charlie horses on the outside but always in that area, and the overall feeling like someone shoved a tire of various sizes right under my ribs. On good days, the tire feels like a bike tire. On bad days it feels like a truck tire.) If that just described your dad's problem, let him know you just met a woman who became disabled for life because of that. He needs to go to a rehab-medicine pain doctor. (Definitely do not go to a pain doctor who only gives injections for the back. Injections fix nothing. They merely numb the pain for 1-90 days, if they don't cause more pain. And they cost a small fortune and need to be down 4 times a year, if they worked or didn't work.) If he does that, it is likely he can go back to his normal life again fairly quickly.
