By age 13 most Jewish boys were suppose to orally recite the Torah from memory, at least that is what I heard was suppose to happen.
It was custom to spend days of listening the Torah read from Genesis and beyond, yearly..,.yet today how many have even read much less listen to the Bible read aloud in one sitting or even one year?
People complain if church service goes over their hourly allotment for God. What happened to week-long revivals and hearts moved to spend hours in worship and praise of God?
