Sometimes I'm a bit suspicious of my intelligence and level of comprehension in general.

Do any of you say things incorrectly at times? Me, I'm not able to say "can of worms" correctly. It comes out "worm of cans" every time. LOL. Even now I'm not sure which one is correct LOL.

People are so often getting a good laugh on my expense, and the blonde jokes keep pouring down on me like tropical rain...LOL...one of my "coworkers" told me today: "Hey, Kelly, you know what? you're a walking blonde joke".

Aww, they're so funny.

I've never told anyone this but I like to say things incorrectly in my mind just because it sounds more interesting... And I often make up new words and wish I could make them official..

The saying things incorrectly started years ago when I learned about this young boy who everyone thought was mentally disabled because nothing he said sounded intelligible.... But then someone recorded him talking and then played it back at a slow speed and he was actually speaking perfectly! The kid was a genius! Also... there was this guy who could actually talk backwards. They would challenge him with a sentence and then he would say it backwards and it would be recorded and then played backwards to see if he was right...and he was!

I believe they are called "spoonerisms" after a Mr. Spooner

Spoonerism - a verbal error in which a speaker accidentally transposes the
initial sounds or letters of two or more words, often to humorous effect,

who reputedly made such errors in speaking.

I too am blonde and prone to saying these frequently.

Forget talking in tongues. I can't even talk in English. I talk out loud to myself all the time, and believe me when I say,

I have a language that is entirely all my own.. lol
