Ah, I did say I could be wrong about you. I was. You think people do miracles. Does it get any worse than this?

I guess that "because" changes nothing.

So, how many miracles have you done so far?
well you gave yourself the option of being wrong

I liked that

For a new comer who reads these posts that would be a valid question davida., especially in today's society. Depleted's profile on each post says she is a woman but not a lady. Kids reading over mom's shoulder as she is reading the posts here would see that and wonder. Lot's of people see the many posts and silly arguments and name calling going when other Christians don't agree with some here about healing. Makes perfect sense that that kids would laugh at this silliness from adult Christian people.

Even when Christians call for some reasonableness and maturity ., it's ignored. The OP of this thread and those who agree do not like to be told there are other believers who believe in healing in the atonement. But you guys need to get used to the fact that not everyone is going to agree with your Bible interpretations. From healing to speaking in tongues to Paul's thorn in the flesh to Abraham's bosom. To many other topics. You guys need to learn how to discuss issues with civility.

Jumping up and down having hissy fits doesn't a discussion make.

Or you can try to ban everyone who disagree with you. It's really up to you how you want to spend your time here.

no it is not at all acceptable

Everything about WoF is "God owes me." If you have enough faith, if you pray, if you live just right, God owes me healing. It's all man-centered with the goal of forcing God's hand. It's as related to the God of the Bible as rubbing the buddha's belling for luck is related to Buddhism.

I just do not get it, Jesus and the early church showed that the way to be sanctified was to focus on others. Even the greatest command when asked was said to be love others and Love God. The purpose is to stop doing as the world (look to self, Put self first, Worry about self, self must come before others, so I must take care of self first) and focusing on putting the needs of others ALWAYS above your own needs.

Yet word of faith is totally self focused. Focused on my gifting, Focused on my financial wellbeing, Focused on my health and healing. Where does this come from? You can not focus on the needs of others if your always focused about self. If God wants to heal you or make you well of. Praise God. If he does not Praise God, what is our purpose in ALL things? To serve others. And always remember, Gods grace is sufficient

PennEd., I disagree with you on some issues and give my own reasons and my own beliefs and I do it with civility. That is what adult discussion is about. I don't get offended if you or others have another way of seeing a topic in the Bible like healing.

But you are offended by me because I believe differently than you do. I don't say you are hurtful or mean to me personally for believing as you do. That is your business and your walk. I have my own faith and I don't try to make you see my way or go the highway.

And I've observed the same from the other Christians here who agree to disagree. Many here on CC believe in healing in the atonement and have tried to share like Ben., Lancalot., Stonesoffire., and some of the others like Davida

I think Davida is new here but she also has not been mean that I've seen or offensive. I think she and her kids are just sort of shocked as any normal person would be at the behavior of many Adults here who name call and are offended and have the hissy fits. If my kids were still teenagers I'm SURE they would laugh hilariously at the nonsense that goes on here at times too. Adults acting like children is not becoming.

you come on here and the only thing you agree with is the attempt of one person to hurt another

then you excuse the fact you liked that person did that to another

then, you try to manipulate what is being said like you almost always do

ever hear the expression true colors?

you are flying some of your own

if you do not see this, then I suggest your heart may be hardened to the truth because davida is abusive...this is far from the first post I have seen her make to people wherein she is just plain nasty

and you back her up

as Christians we are not to take offense and granted, that is not instantaneous but you telling PennEd he is offended by you is the type of classic manipulation you do

Stunned, I'm not trying to argue with you. But, I thought this way too for years. We start from receiving all we need through Holy Spirit, inside, and His work saves outwardly.

2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Even love stunned. Love is shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

Daily is our salvation. We have no other days only today. Reckon yourself dead, the promise of God for His, is we died with Him, buried, and risen.

To believe His promises is how we live, rejecting the lies of the world spirit, our own human nature called flesh, and the devil. If you have Holy Spirit, you have all you need.

What did God promise us? And why?

Your joking right? Well I think that about says it all. Your not here to learn, Your not here to fellowship. Your not here to discuss. Your here to laugh at Gods children.

oh you like that do you joanie?

you should think about that with all your talk of your loving changed life

you know, it gives me pleasure to come on here and say this to you...but why do you take delight in someone trying to hurt someone else?

well I messed that up

it gives me no pleasure to see what has transpired here

not surprised though

I actually think there are 2 people trying to hurt someone

At least we are truthful with others. If we think they overstepped, even if we agree with them, we say so, in honesty, or at the very least, we don't like their post to show them we think they went about it wrongly.

I've said it before and it applies to everyone

we give away who we really are in bits and pieces and in many different ways

and of course time reveals all!

An old Chinese saying goes something like this: whatever you are carrying will spill out when someone bumps you.

I LIKE that! I'm gonna steal that and hopefully the Lord will make me give credit where I got it from.

I do not know which makes me feel worse. That I had to read this post. Or that Joaniemarie liked it.

I hope this post was reported.

Wow. You think what she wrote was christ like? She was not arguing a biblical point, She was attacking a person. It does not matter if you agree with the person or not. This kind of stuff should not be tolerated. From anyone.

umm. no Joannie. Her posts were intended to hurt a person. There was no Scriptural disagreement. And I reported them both for that reason.

Also, let's hear YOU say that YOU might be wrong about all this stuff. You have been pretty good at saying others are wrong. Does that same standard apply to you?
Same reason I reported.

Well...I don't think God was the CAUSE of the man getting hooked on drugs...do you?
Been thinking more on this. I also don't think God struck him dead because he was addicted to drugs. Which seemed to be stones take on it by my understanding of what she wrote. And stones post is what bug was replying to.

So saying she brings her kids in to laugh at a person and thinks someone is a transgender is not mean or offensive?

I hate to say it, But I think if Depleted said it, you would be all over it.
