When I mention fiber from grains, I'm only talking about whole grain, high-fiber foods... not refined carbs like white bread and white rice. High-fiber foods are low-glycemic and do not contribute to weight gain any more than protein does.

Refined carbs get turned into fat almost as fast as sugar because they are high-glycemic (quickly broken down and absorbed into the bloodstream)...

HIgh-fiber foods like brown rice and 100% whole wheat bread contain fiber that is not easily digested. The undigested fiber cleans out the digestive track and the digested fiber (soluble fiber) lowers cholesterol in the blood and helps lower blood pressure.

That is all true, but the colon and digestive track need fiber from grains to keep the digestive track clean and prevent colon cancer. (I know... too much info! but its important info)
I've lived pretty good without fiber.

it's really not hard at all to 'cut-out' white 'processed foods,' which have no food value to your body -
the info is out there, if one truly wants to be and feel healthy, 'go for the gold...your worth it...

cut our the sodas and pig stuff, etc...- eating stuff just because you like the taste, will eventually cause
you many medical problems! ever wonder WHY so many choose these things that can make you sick
and eventually will kill you???

Sodas are huge...the amount of sugars in those things is through the roof, and there isn't even anything good to counterbalance it. And when you eat less processed foods, you develop a taste for the real foods :)

Oh gosh...don't even mention bacon. I haven't eaten bacon in...I don't know how long. I don't need that GMO stuff, and I'm not willing to raise the amount of pigs it takes to keep me in sidepork ;).

Also, grain isn't bad if you get it organic. I hear they are finding all these gluten intolerances from the chemicals they spray on the grains. We always eat organic grains.

Excellent! Stay as far away from animal cruelty and meats, which are injected with hormones and antibiotics and one of the worst causes of cancer. Particularly in the morning if you'd like a settled stomach, the best thing you can have is fruit and water. If you find your stomach is still unsettled, take a few drops of detoxified iodine or Carvacrol-ex in a glass of water and they will get rid of any harmful bacteria naturally.

if only my brothers and sisters could break away from the bondage of this fallen-world,
and learn how to Love themselves as Christ does; He has already cut-to-the-chase of
what will help us to live a long and healthy life, even though we will have to do our part
and take 'control' of what we put into our Temples...

just a share -

many years after hub and I had been called and were finding our way to our Jesus' 'REAL WORLD',,,
our precious Lord led us to many of His natural ways in order for us to heal what the 'world'
had done to us through our worldly, unhealthy, inherited, habits - no need to go into them now...
long story short, I will just mention one of the many things than He led us through and to in order to
come-back and be able to live:
the 'book' called 'Back to Eden', for we had so destroyed our temples, that they were on the verge
of extention: one of the things that He put into our hearts and minds was a remedy called, 'Lugol's Iodine',
as our bodies must have real iodine' for the thyroid and other organs: after we were convicted,
we literally had to go, over, and over, to many, many pharmacys to find a pharmacist who would put together
the ingredients that this healing, natural, medicine that our Saviour put into our hearts to just go out
in Faith and seek and to find, what would help to heal and eradicate many of the poisons that we had
been putting into ourselves for so many years...we finally found one, way over in Riverside, and he made up the
mixture right there for us...it was a miracle, and after we started to take it, we observed that it had
miraculous healing properties in both of our lives...(lots of other stuff Jesus was working on us with...
this is 'just ONE of the processes that we had to go through in order to follow our Father's ways in
order to begin our brand-new healing-process from what we had been taught and had abused and
bought into in this 'fallen-sick-world...

we would both be 'dead' by now, if it weren't for the Love, Calling, Conviction, Election, of our
Holy Saviour, Jesus Christ...:eek::)
