I used to think that was "gaming" Like, you know...my computer plays chess and hearts and solitaire. I thought that's what that was :p.

I play games too, but I am not sure how you can "do it for God".

First person shooters are mostly very fast gameplays where there is no time for chatting or messaging. I am not sure how do you imagine it... that you will shoot another team and you will start praying to the microphone or something? That would be absurd.

You can create some nick/username that makes it clear you are Christian, but thats probably all you can show to others without being weird.
It’s spiritual warefare we are going to be fighting the war in Syria for the Lord, so the troops will be feeling stronger and fearless, till the gospel is preached there, many benefits will the Lord give us for fighting and working as a unit, you don’t need a mic the game is easy and easy to type so don’t worry about that.

You’ll have much more fun here serving God.
Dude...how does this serve God? It seems to me you could be serving him much better if you were out in the real world, reaching real people, with real souls. I have no problem with gaming. Just don't make it more than it is.

Personally, I am not. It sounds cool but I literally don't do any kind of computer games . I'd like to know how you define serving God, though? I mean like...where in the Bible do you find that that is a definition of serving God? Again, not trying to slam gaming, just trying to figure out what you mean by this.

you're pretty condescending for a 23 year old claiming to murder roleplay for God....

if He reaches someone with your first person "shooter" game

praise God.... He provides the growth
He is so powerful He can even use a game to reach someone

but don't act like she isn't serving God by not joining your silly clan

Calm down, J. :) I get the feeling not many here will join him anyway. There aren't many gamers here..

I'm looking to play online games with Christian young adults, a first person shooter, start a clan and play for God, if you are interested on why i want to play games with you guys just ask, it's spiritual warfare for young people, don't forget your bibles :)!
Out of all due respect spiritual warfare is not a game and I find it extremely disrespectful to my faith that someone who claims to have a relationship with Christ thinks it's just a game. The enemy is very real, demon possession is very real and can be extremely scary. I would rather see people pick up a bible and read it then play games. It's extremely childish and immature

We get alot of predators in this forum, and I think that was Ugly's point. I'm not saying that you are, but the adults here are pretty protective of the teens, because many of them are naive...
i read this a day ago and i was too shocked to reply... you calling me naive? :p

She meant that predators are everywhere, especially on the 'net. And yes, some of those predators are gamers. No need to get mad, she wasn't even referring to you personally as one..

personally its not for me

but there are people online playing these games who havent heard the bible

if someone plants a seed there

and lets say some athiest child being raised in a house that mocks or doesnt even speak of Jesus

simply hears something he hasnt before

and later down the line actually looks it up
and heads down a path to seek Him

who am i to judge?

its no worse than harry potter or many sports with cheer leaders and stuff

(again i wouldnt ever suggest you do or watch these things)
but it would be nice to hear people doing these things start pointing to Jesus (eventually walk away from these things)

so i aint trying to go overboard talking about a game

but i just kinda felt when i made my post he was acting high minded towards brothers and sisters in Christ who serve God in many other ways
