There are quite a few members that suffer from depression, myself included, so please know that you're not alone in this. Hopefully, the site will become a source of peace, comfort and understanding for you. I have said a prayer for God to deliver you from the debilitating cloud of depression that is hovering over you. Thus will allow the healing process to begin. Glad to have you as part of our family. Welcome to CC.
Thank you for the welcome and prayers! Yes sadly depression (and anxiety) can come from battling chronic illness and one of my problems (a dizziness and vertigo problem, known as a vestibular disorder) is known to lead to anxiety and panic attacks as well. Just taking one day at a time and holding on to God's promises.

Well I believe if you are open the Lord will show you the truth, not just in this instance but in all things. Ask for Him to reveal the truth and never be closed to learning.
I already went through a period of research and reflection in this matter, I am never closed to learning but God has lead me to believe otherwise in this area.

I will let it go if that is your wish, but are you opposed to talk about it at all?

I can get out as well, but I'm limited. I had a series of issues, one after another, so various things have kept me from getting more active again. I have taken some trips out of state, including Illinois, but only because driving doesn't require a lot of walking haha.

I exist to my family, just not hugely interested in most of them. There's only a few I enjoy spending time with.

If you have any questions on the site there is a sticky post at the top of the New Users forum that may help, though the chat room portion is outdated.
Also there is a User2User Tech forum for such questions.
Or I'm on and off throughout the day for things as well.
Well that is cool you can do that. I don't drive and have trouble being in cars a long time. (Because of a vertigo problem.) My parents have to drive me. Would not be safe if I drived tbh.
As for going far from my house I suffer from a form of panic disorder and agoraphobia. I am not as bad as one point in my life but my fears are all centered around having these debilitaing vertigo episode far from home or in public. :(
Thanks. :)

I am still learning, how do you like posts?
I am sadly use to people trying to discredit and insult my beliefs. Not just the Trinity really but just simply believing in God. That's why I want to try to interact here more and possibly make friends. I don't care if people believe in the trinity or not I just really need to be around people that believe in God period and strive to be base their lives on the Bible. I am tired of being around people that reject God and get down on Cristians. I know part of it comes with being a Christian but I been saved since a young age and have felt very different because of it because (besides my mom) I have been surrounded by those that scoff at even the idea of God. :( I sadly use to have friends like this. I also live in a devided family. :(
I see your a pokemon fan? :)
You go to the bottom of a post and in blue letters you click on the word "like" on the bottom right or if you really like a post a lot you can give Reputation/Rep by going to the bottom of a post and clicking the "star" in the bottom left and if you want you can add a "special secret message" telling why you liked a post and if you want you can put your name too or leave it a mystery.

Well...
I am too!!!
if you can't see either one and it's an "android" click the drop down menu in the far upper right hand corner and click "desk top site" to switch from "mobile" to "desktop" but in "mobile" you can post and see posts fast but can't like or rep, where in "desk top" you can't see or post as well but you can like and rep.

That's how I live my life too, just take it one day at a time. Each day has sufficient worry and anxiety in itself without adding to what may or not happen tomorrow. You keep holding on to the promises of God and I will pray for God to make known to you a promise or two of God that you may not be aware of.

Tomorrow is another day and each day we start with a clean slate.

I understand about anxiety too but say a prayer each morning for God to calm my fears and let me step out boldly in the world to humbly serve the Lord performing the work that our Heavenly Father has prepared for me to do beforehand. The good work that God as started in me He is certainly willing and able to accomplish.

The same holds true for you too. That's another promise of God. There are many others, more than it is possible to count, like the hairs on your head.

It's not so bad if you think about it.

Just switched over from desk top to mobile to see what it's like and actually it's easy to see and post on both but as I said you can't like or rep in mobile, desk top gives way more options too.

I still am not seeing a star on the left. Also are the quotes on the right for quoting multiple people?

Hi ANC, welcome to CC, hope you make friends here.

In this world we face tribulations and rejection is just one form of these tribulations; take heart and be strong. On the brighter side, instead of feeling down when the world rejects you, find some positive by upping your spirituality because we are not of this world, remember? i sometimes wish i never had some friends because all they do is impede my spiritual growth but hey, all these things (Temptations/tribulations) are there for a purpose- so that we maybe stronger.

Speaking of focusing on God, i wouldn't say the idea that Jesus isn't God is a trivial issue; i do believe He is the one and only true God. So we have a conundrum here IMO, you want to be closer to God, yet you reject God- i pray that your eyes are opened so that you can gain an understanding.

Replay With Quote will quote one member, the little box on the far right will allow you to quote multiple members. When using this option be sure to click Reply With Quote to the last member of your post that you want to include. I'm not sure of the maximum number you can quote for one post but it's at least 3. The little star is on the bottom of each post next to Blog With Post. This may or may not be visible using a phone but will be visible if you use a PC.
