My mom said I couldn't have it when I went to visit my friends in Alabama. And now I'm in Alabama until Monday with no cell phone :(

When I little, you picked up a phone, that was connected to the wall, and the operator said, “Number please?” and you gave her the number you wanted to call.

We seldom called long distance because it was too expensive.
