LighthouseJohn is the oldest person I run into with any regularity. Therefore I think he deserves a proper roast.

John, I’m sending you a rocking chair and wool slippers.

God bless you.

I’m also sending you a bottle of Just for Men hair coloring and a toupee. If you are like me, the toupee will be of much more use.

Res,

A wise man once said "God only made so many perfect heads. The rest He covered with hair." but I prefer Proverbs 16:31 "Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life."

Keep the toupee, I'll take the hair color, I have been going gray since I was 25. Now I have gone past gray to silver, but it's all still there.

Yes, gray hair is something to be proud of, I think.

This one time you could fly to the US and deliver a roast in person. A few hundred miles to the north, you could pay me a visit, and a few hundred miles north of that, you could visit Charisenexcelcis. We’re sort of old, too.

Why don't we all agree to meet at one place and Clement could deliver his repat and we could all enjoy it. At our age,m it is not fair to entice us and then leave us hanging. That's tantamount to elder abuse. LOL

I nowhere near as old as y'all, but can I come to dinner too? I'll be there to remind y'all to take your medicines and cut your meat.

CCG,

You can come if you'll clean my teeth or at least make sure I have them in.

They are talking about having a CC get together in Memphis next year. I would love to do that, but plane tickets are not cheap, nor are motel rooms and rented cars. (I’ve gone to church events in the past where you sleep in a church, but my experience is that one doesn’t necessarily get a lot of sleep that way.)

why don't we just start drilling a hole into the ground wherever we are.

We will surely end up meeting each other :p

It wouldn’t be that easy. We would have to hire an engineer to tell us exactly what angles to drill those holes.

Problems, problems, problems; all you youguns ever do is come up with why something can't be done. I remember back in my day when somethin needed to be done, we just went out and done it. Besides that it was uphill both ways."
