Correct, but did they follow and obey the pre-incarnate Jesus.
Some did. It's not Jesus fault that most men prefer darkness over light.

Do you think Jesus, who saved the woman caught in adultery from certain death, would command Moses to kill thousands of people?

The Canaanite's were going peacefully about their everyday life until Moses invaded and committed genocide.
peacefully burning their children on Molech's altar in an idyllic, enlightened society, yup...

do you think anyone is worthy of judgement?

((besides Moses, that is))

Moses didn't enter Canaan. It was Joshua who led the people and it was the LORD who drove out the inhabitants before them, like a hornet.

Paul answers this question for you.

Rom. 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

Paul says Jesus' good, Holy, and Just Law killed us so we can learn just how evil and wicked it is to disobey God.
And how does he say we enter into life?

read Romans 6-7, and remember them when you get to that fantastic 'therefore' which begins chapter 8.

Actually Jesus gave this man the same answer He has given since He created man to begin with. Jesus has been consistent both as the God of Abraham, and as Jesus the Man.

And Paul agrees with Him.

Rom. 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Seems like the same message He gives to everyone. What we "DO" determines our fate.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
Instead of ripping out of context...

Why don't you keep reading in chapter 2, all the way through 5, and keep going?

You will discover that no one by 'doing' inherits life.

Correct, but did they follow and obey the pre-incarnate Jesus.

Sanhedrin 106a . Says Jesus' mother was a whore: "She who was the descendant of princes and governors played the harlot with carpenters." Also in footnote #2 to Shabbath 104b of the Soncino edition, it is stated that in the "uncensored" text of the Talmud it is written that Jesus mother, "Miriam the hairdresser," had sex with many men.

"Jesus is in hell, being boiled in "hot excrement" (Gittin 57a).

"Mary, the mother of Jesus, was a whore and played the harlot with carpenters" (Sanhedrin, 106a,b).

"[Christ] practised sorcery and enticed Israel to apostacy" (Sanhedrin, 43a).

Under the Talmud's counterfeit Noahide Laws, the worship of Jesus is forbidden under penalty of death, since such worship of Christ is condemned by Judaism as idolatry. Meanwhile various forms of incest are permitted under the Talmudic understanding of the Noahide code. (Enziklopediya Talmudit, note 1, pp. 351-352).

Sanhedrin 43a. Says Jesus ("Yeshu" and in Soncino footnote #6, Yeshu "the Nazarene") was executed because he practiced sorcery: "It is taught that on the eve of Passover Jesus was hung, and forty days before this the proclamation was made: Jesus is to be stoned to death because he has practiced sorcery and has lured the people to idolatry...He was an enticer and of such thou shalt not pity or condone."

Jesus Christ (the bastard boy who "uncovered his head" was conceived in the filth of menstruation).

"According to the Talmud, Jesus was executed by a proper rabbinical court for idolatry, inciting other Jews to idolatry, and contempt of rabbinical authority. All classical Jewish sources which mention his execution are quite happy to take responsibility for it; in the talmudic account the Romans are not even mentioned.
I do NOT read the Talmud, except to cite things that agree with or confirm Scripture; and for you to put this filth on the forum is offensive no matter who said it first!

Hello Gandpa, nice you see you again my friend.

Seems no matter how many times anyone shares with you that they BELIEVE we are not saved by the works of the law and are ONLY SAVED by GRACE through FAITH and NOT of ourselves; it is a GIFT of GOD and not of works lest anyman should boast you disregard it.

Now my friend, if we are in agreement on the above then you have no argument. If you have no argument and we are all in agreement then what are you arguing about as we all believe the scriptures posted here.

What is being shared here as stated many times already is that if your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE to God's WORD then you are still in your SINS because you have NOT accepted the GIFT of God's dear son. If your tree has no fruit then it will be cast down and thrown into the FIRE (Matt 7:12-23; James 2:18-20; 26)

Indeed because all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God, we are all sinners in need of a Saviour. You did not finished this however....

31, Do we then make void the law through faith? GOD FORBID: YES, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW

Indeed, if we WALK in the SPIRIT we will NOT fulfill the lusts of the FLESH ....

Romans 8
1,
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2, For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
3, For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: <WHY?>
4, That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

This is what is being shared here. Sin is breaking God's LAW (Romans 7:7; James 2:9-11; 1 John 3:4) If you are following Christ you will not be continuing in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN. We are no longer under the CONDEMNATION of God's LAW because we have forgiveness from SIN and are now free to FOLLOW Jesus through faith in his WORD because we LOVE him

Romans 1
5, By whom we have received GRACE and apostleship, FOR OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name.

Romans 6
1, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. 2, How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

John 14:15
If you LOVE me keep my Commandments.

Indeed wornderful scriptures. We are not saved by what we do but by FAITH in God's WORD.

2Pe 1:4
Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Romans 3
31,
Do we then ABOLISH THE LAW THROUGH FAITH? GOD FORBID: YES, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW

The yoke of bondage here spoken of is SIN. As Jesus says....

Joh 8:34
Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin.

Romans 6
14,
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace.
15, What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16, Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
17, But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18, Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness.

No one is teaching anyone here to follow God's LAW to be saved as we are ONLY SAVED by GRACE through FAITH and NOT of ourselves; it is a GIFT of GOD and not of works lest anyman should boast so you have no argument as everyone here is in agreement.

The False religion however is the one that teaches that we are saved IN SIN and that if you CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN you will still enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN. This is the very first LIE told in the Garden of Eden to EVE by the farther of lies. Those who teach such things teach against God's LAW and the prophets. This is something Jesus or the Apostles never did.

SIN is the transgression or breakin gof God's Commandments (Romans 7:7; James 2:8-12; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).
After all of that keep this in mind about what Paul said about sin. In his mind he delights in the law of God bus is slaved to the law of sin

Romans 7 NIV

14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

Moses didn't enter Canaan. It was Joshua who led the people and it was the LORD who drove out the inhabitants before them, like a hornet.
This is Moses:

Num 31:1-18 KJV
(1) And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
(2) Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.
(3) And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.
(4) Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.
(5) So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
(6) And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.
(7) And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.
(8) And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.
(9) And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.
(10) And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire.
(11) And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.
(12) And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.
(13) And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp.
(14) And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle.
(15) And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?
(16) Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.
(17) Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
(18) But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

Do you think the LORD in verse 1 was the pre-incarnate Jesus?

That is how the Jews were towards Jesus. They finally succeeded in getting him killed.

Scripture confirms it.

(14) Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
(15) Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

WHO ARE GOD'S ISRAEL IN THE NEW COVENANT?

THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: FOR YOU ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED FOR YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS and IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN ARE YOU ABRAHAM'S SEED, AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE (Galatians 3:28).

FOR THEY ARE NOT ALL ISRAEL WHICH ARE OF ISRAEL,: NEITHER, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, ARE THEY ALL CHILDREN: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called <Christ> That is, THEY WHICH ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE FLESH, THESE ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE <those who believe> ARE COUNTED FOR THE SEED (Romans 9:6).

FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; NEITHER IS THAT CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS OUTWARDS IN THE FLESH: BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; and CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE LETTER; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Romans 2:28-29)

Colossians 3:11,
WHERE THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK
circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Romans 10:11-13,
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. FOR THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEW OR GREEK: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.

Hebrews 8:10-12,

BUT THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; After those days, says the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS, AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Gentiles are now grafted into God's ISRAEL (Romans 11:13-24)

God's ISRAEL in the NEW COVENANT are ALL those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD. God's Sabbath is an EVERLASTING and PERPETUAL Covenant that will be continued in the NEW EARTH (Isaiah 66:22-23)

Isaiah 66
22,
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, said the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23, And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, said the LORD.

Yep seems like God says the Sabbath is an everlasting (FOREVER) Covenant with those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW the WORD of GOD (God's ISRAEL).

If you are not a part of God's Israel, then you have NO PART in the NEW COVENANT
(Jeremiah 31:33-4; Hebrews 8:10-12; Hebrews 10:14-17; Hebrews 8:10-12).

You cannot disregard the OLD Testament scriptures that are the foundation of the NEW Testament. The NEW Testament is built on the Old Testament and together they are the Word of God which gives instruction to follow God

.......................

Everything in the NEW Testament builds on instruction already provided in the OLD Testament scriptures from Exodus 20:8-11.

In the NEW TESTAMENT building on the OLD the scriptures teach that.....

1. Jesus taught that it is lawful to do GOOD on the Sabbath? (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)

2. Jesus taught that God's Sabbath was made for mankind and not man for the Sabbath rebuking the tradtions of the Jew in regards to their traditions and interpretation around Sabbath keeping? (Mark 2:27-28; Matthew 12:8)

3. Jesus taught that he was the maker and creator of the Sabbath and the God of creation? (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)

4. Jesus is our example who kept the Sabbath as well as all those who followed him (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

5. Jesus taught that break God's Commandments and teach others to do so will not enter God's Kingdom? (Matt 5:19)

6. Jesus taught that not a jot or tittle will pass from God's LAW until heaven and earth pass away? (Matthew 5:18)

7. Jesus taught that on the two great commandments of LOVE to GOD and MAN hang ALL the LAW and the prophets (Matthew 22:36-40)

8.
Paul warns us that those who do NOT believe and follow GOD do not enter into God's Sabbath rest because of their SINS and UNBELIEF (Hebrews 3-4)

9. Jesus, Paul, James, John and Peter taught there is 10 Commandments including the Sabbath and not 9 commandments and if you break one of God's Commandments you stand guilty before God of breaking all of them (James 2:8-12).

10. Timothy teaches thatALL SCRIPTURE (OLD AND NEW Testament) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16)

Why would Jesus and the Apostles give us further instruction in relation to Sabbath keeping building on the OLD TESTAMENET scriptures if we no longer need to keep it? (Point 1, 2, 3, 6)

That is vile and in line with everything else. There is nothing to cancel it until we come to the teaching of Jesus who came down from heaven (John 6:38) and gave the people a new commandment to love one another (John 13:34).
Hi PS,

You do not LOVE God if you are breaking God's LAW because on the two great commandments of LOVE to God and man hang ALL the LAW and the prophets (Matt 22:36-40). If you LOVE God you will fulfill the LAW (Romans 13:8-10) and is why Jesus says; If you LOVE me keep my commandments (John 14:15)

I am sorry, this does not at all prove your point.
I am sure that you will not do this but perhaps a visit to that website he advertises will tell you different. I have read stuff from Ellen G. White and everything on that site is almost word for word her teachings.
In any event it is just an aggressive pitch for SDA doctrine, which is all based on Ellen G. White anyway...
Now GNP are you telling the truth now? I will leave that one between you and God my friend.

Jesus is the Word.
Indeed, Jesus is God's Word. If you reject God's Word it is the same as rejecting Jesus.

I continually say I keep the Sabbath; and I argue, as strongly as he does, that it is NOT required of NT believers.
Do you think you will have any part in God's KINGDOM while teaching others to break God's Commandments?
