but looks and wisdom can be deceiving sometimes;
we have a neighbor who remarried in her late 70's, both widows, and they were married for about 3-4 years:
he was addicted to 'cigars', and one day when they stopped by, she asked me to please speak to him about the consequences of them,
for she had already lost one husband to an addiction, and I did - all out, not caring what he thought about it...
about a year later, he developed ear, throat, brain, cancer, and has just recently died, leaving her once again
alone from the evil powers and consequences of this world...she asked him to stop his addiction, but he refused, and now he is dead,
and she is once again alone in the latter years of her life, when we so often need someone the most...

our hearts/broken once again, by what we have had to witness to, for those whom care for themselves,
above life-children-family! should we include Jesus in this redundant theme???

do we dare believe that these people simply don't 'care' about the most important things in life,
that our Saviour has tried to hard to teach us???

SPOILER ALERT:

Almost everybody dies, including every character that is any viewer's favorite character. But don't worry, you ain't missing much. It's basically a medieval soap opera with a lot more killing than daytime soaps are allowed.
Not true... and... not true. I bet you've never watched an episode.

Everyone doesn't die and its the furthest thing from a soap opera. Its more like watching history unfold... dark, mysterious, often merciless, intriguing history... (even though it 100% fiction)

Does this look like a soap opera??

I agree.

While there a lot of things I do not like about GOT, it's well-written, many of the most important characters are still alive, and the author put a lot of thought into his world.

I used to love him on All In The Family, but if you've followed him politically you know that now he really is a meathead!
That hold true for almost any actor/singer/celebrity you could name. They are all leftist - elitist - we are better than you - do gooders. They do good to themselves and the world loves them.

I feel like putting cam 2 in my gas tank, and telling the EPA to eat my shorts.

If you have a high compression engine, it might make a difference depending on what octane you're currently running and how high your compression is. But if it's not high compression (i think 10:1 or above is considered high), then it won't do a thing.

so.... you are saying that I should quit smoking cigars? You are the second person to tell me that in the same day.

I tried to start drinking once... never got the hang of it.

Me and alcohol do not agree.. And I think I may have damaged my kidneys :( (not my liver, because I only had like 1 drink a day at the most)..

I'm not a doctor (and, I don't play one on TV ) but I seriously doubt if drinking one drink a day for a year or two could damage your kidneys... unless you have some kind of odd allergy to alcohol...

I think that alcohol will affect the liver before it does the kidneys... and that is after a LONG time of steady drinking. Usually.

My opinion only. If this is a true medical emergency, hang up and dial 911....

Yes... another wacked out liberal. Rush Limbaugh, years ago, had an interesting opinion on why Hollywood is mostly liberal wackos.

He said that they have some kind of guilt about making SO much money, for doing so little.... actually just being professional liars... so to assuage their guilt, they are constantly looking for ways to appear relevant, or intelligent, or "tuned in", and they are naturally drawn to many of the "causes". Look at Richard Gere and his weird obsession with, what was it, Tibet? Or some such. Actresses doing somber, tearful commercials about saving poor puppies, while blithely advocating ripping babies out of their mothers' wombs, in the name of convenience.

Matt Damon ranting about anything socialistic or liberal... decrying the private ownership of firearms while making millions of dollars making movies that glorify some hero shooting anything that moves.

I was going to say, "don't get me started", but it might be too late for that....

Wow! Hornetguy, I thought my rant on Hollywood types was bad. I could take lessons from you.

Yea I had some kind of allergy because even half a beer would make my face flush and my heart pound in my chest. And I think it did something to my kidneys because after about a month I noticed a lot of bubbles when I peed and that never happened before. That's why I stopped trying... but the bubbles didn't go away (kidney damage is always considered irreversible).
