12 - there's only 12 in an apostles spoon set..

That last one is Matthias...
My list is of those named in the scriptures. Maybe you can provide a list of scriptures that actually state, by name, that anyone that I have listed was removed as an apostle.

Acts 1:15In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (the company of persons was in all about 120) and said, 16“Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus. 17For he was numbered among us and was allotted his share in this ministry.” 18(Now this man acquired a field with the reward of his wickedness, and falling headlong[SUP]d[/SUP] he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out. 19And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the field was called in their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.) 20“For it is written in the Book of Psalms,“‘May his camp become desolate,
and let there be no one to dwell in it’;
and
“‘Let another take his office.
21So one of the men who have accompanied us during all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22beginning from the baptism of John until the day when he was taken up from us—one of these men must become with us a witness to his resurrection.” 23And they put forward two, Joseph called Barsabbas, who was also called Justus, and Matthias. 24And they prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two
you have chosen 25to take the place in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.26And they cast lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Who can argue with that?

Yes, Matthias replaced Judas in the ministry of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb, (Rev 21:14 The city wall had twelve foundations, and the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb were on the foundations.). Still he became the thirteenth named apostle.

Keep counting!

Acts 14:14
"But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard this, they tore their clothes and ran in among the multitude, crying out "

Neither Paul nor Barnabas was ever part of the original twelve, or even thirteen....
I even checked the Greek to make sure the translation was correct - and it is "οἱ ἀπόστολοι" is translated "the Apostles".
It is definitely plural!

Silas was also involved with Paul during his missionary travels. I have not found an explicit reference to him being called an Apostle, but he did the work of one as well....

In reality, it appears that the closed definition of there only being twelve Apostles seems to blur with time as one progresses through The Acts of the Apostles!

If you could keep this going for a few more clauses, you would really have something...

I could have, but I couldn't agree with myself as to whether or not that would've seemed too disagreeable.

Well, I guess if one cannot agree on whether to agree or disagree with oneself, that might end up being rather disagreeable!

for my part i certainly disagree with the idea that if he agrees to disagree with whoever he disagrees with is disagreeable to the point that he will agree with all those he agreed to disagree with over disagreement.

so, we're agreed as far as it pertains to disagreement.

All I know is this:"I know less than half of you, half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you, half as well as you deserve.". Not really, since I don't really know anyone here at all yet, but I've loved this saying since I read it in grade school.

I'll try to respond to this post a little later once my head has stopped spinning and the nausea has abated, what you have written has resulted in a sort of intellectual diffuse axonal damage (concussion, for those who don't understand the term)!
