It's an offense in Virginia
But Tommy, I think it's actually a myth. Everyone assumes it's illegal (like I did). Even in Virginia there doesn't seem to be any law against barefoot driving, even though they don't recommend it, along with driving in heels too.

Not trying to fight it, lol. I would accept if it were true. However, I'm pretty sure that if you got in a wreck and they knew you were barefoot that it could be used against you.

It was one of the laws on the police academy exams. I would have to look it up, since there are over 1600 laws in 46.2..... could have been repealed in the past 17 years.

Embarrassing fact about myself -- my left armpit never stinks. It's got to be the right one, if something offends. And yet, I put deodorant on both.

Lynn,

try, even at your advanced age, to find a balance - personally, I don't like or believe
in 'clogging-up' our limp-glands, for anyone, for they are our natural way to eliminate toxins:
if we clog them up with man made stuff, and people don't like the way I smell, well,
then find some new friends that think 'smelling' a certain way makes them like you
BETTER!!!:rolleyes: - by the way, hub loves the way a real woman smells, it really 'turns' him on...!
know what I mean???

Here is something embarrassing about myself- I have no shame. My sisters once dared me to wear a dress and high heels and make up even fake painted nails and walk around our front yard when I was 18 and I did. Boy high heels hurt....

No matter how hard I try, I just cannot pronounce the word "pawn" like the Americans. It just sounds like I'm saying "porn". I can blame my British-ness for that one. But I won't laugh at you when you fail to pronounce Edinburgh, among other words (every American I've heard say it gets it wrong every time :p)

Yeah, but as the girl who looks like a boy in high heels (can't walk three steps without stumbling, and still do NOT know how to walk down steps in heels), got to ask, could you walk without stumbling by the time you were done?

I cry when watching sad movies(especially Christian movies). I'm not ashamed of that, however-though the man I was would've been.

I also subscribe to the 5 second rule, for didn't Jesus say that it's not what goes into a man that defiles him?

Drop food in my house and you have about two seconds before the dogs claim it.

I wouldn’t call it embarrassing but, I grew up watching old school wrestling. Back then it was called SuperStars *thumbs up*

But this one’s embarrassing.... once in College (High School) I had a full on fist fight with a girl, the force of my uppercut on her was so fast it missed her and hit me instead.

In other words, I punched myself. And to make it worse? I gave myself a cut lip and bled.
