I never said you never said you followed the law. I was just showing you the REQUIREMENT for those who TRY to follow the law (nice, you accuse me of doing wrong when YOU DID by assuming I did something I did not do. Way to go buddy.

Woe up there dude, The law did not say if you ask forgiveness I will forgive you. the law said if you sin, a sacrifice of an innocent unblemished creature must be given, THEN and ONLY THEN will I forgive you of your sin,

No it does not. if it did, Jesus would not have to say the law says this, But I tell you that, Jesus is telling you the law is not sufficient to do what you claim. It is obvious you did not read a thing I said, why did you bother to respond. I explained this quite clearly in my post.

Of course no one is perfect. Which means EVERYONE is cursed by the law.

The law never said repent and I will forgive you, if you do not understand the sacrificial priestly system, how can you ever claim you understand the cross?

Again, reread what I posted. if you can rebut what I said, I will listen, otherwise, these general comments which show you did not read anything hurt you, they do not help you
Let me ask you, do you believe a man can say he believes in Christ, then run around doing anything his heart desires and still enter into heaven ? Is that your belief ?

the devil is the accuser of the brethren and right now you are on his payroll

I honestly would think a man of your age would have better things to do than accuse people you do not know...what is this? your 3rd day here?.....of taking a stand against God

you might as well paint pharisee on your forehead by now because you want to whip people with your accusations

at your age, I would make sure I have a right relationship with my Savior and get my life in order

I'm serious about that

you may well be used to running your own little chalet, but this is not your forum and you do not know the people you are insulting

I see you in the circle of religious hypocrites who wanted Jesus to condemn the woman caught in adultery...you are very angry and your fist clenches a stone and you look from Jesus to the woman who is cowering in the dirt

you should know that every one of you left because you were all just as guilty as the woman Jesus forgave and told to sin no more

our sins are forgiven by JESUS...but it seems you have hatred in your heart and want a good old stoning to take place

it will be you who leaves if you keep up your nastiness because people will begin to report you and the mods will pay attention to your nastiness...prob ask you to stop...and when you are nasty with them also, they will simply banish you and leave you to take out your disappoint with not being able to actually physically hurt anyone here, in your own little and getting smaller circle of hypocrisy and cold love

Jesus is the One who died for each one of us and you are currently saying it does not matter because you have a difference of opinion and you fancy yourself the big boss

since I have been here, I have seen a number of your personality types come and go...as in 'banned'

again, I would check my own heart and ask myself why condemning women means so much to you

it has nothing to do with a love of the word or God or Jesus.
If I am on his payroll, then you just joined the list yourself.

Something I know for sure. The Holy Spirit does a fine better (perfect) job of changing someone’s mind and heart than any one of us.

Oops did I just preach? teehee!

That was written to the churches of Corinth, a general command written specifically to them because of situations they were in.

Do you ever study historical application?

Paul later called women deacons and elders. Did he expect them to be quiet?
Indeed, this is something to consider. We should take The Bible as a whole. Paul talks about women being silent in one letter but then in 1 Corinthians 11 he talks about women covering their heads while they pray and prophesy. An uppity female has to talk to prophesy and he did not forbid them to do so in Corinth.

Either Paul contradicts himself or some of his commands where applying to specific assemblies at specific times. It's a reasoned look at context not a rejection of God's word.

lol. Ever read romans 1? the world knows, thats why they have no excuse.

Who is teaching people can run around and do as they wish? Your strawman is getting you no where. NO ONE HER IS SAYING THAT.

The law WILL NOT TEACH YOU MORALITY. That was not its purpose. Jesus showed us how to be morally upright people. just 2 commands, Love God, and your neighbor (all people even your enemy you come in contact with) and you will not break the law.

You do not look to the law for moral guidance, YOU LOOK AWAY FROM YOURSELF. and learn to love others as Jesus loved others (sacrificing your own needs for their needs)
So, you claim the 10 commandments do not teach morality ? I believe you should read them again.

You're saying all you need is faith and no law. Following God's commandments is part of loving Him. I already showed this. You cannot claim you are following that first commandment of Jesus without following God's commandments.

JN 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

To prophesy and to preach within a church are two different things. There was no contradiction.

I told you man, your strawman is dead. No one here is teaching that nonsense.

This is what I believe

1 John 3: [SUP]6 [/SUP]Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. [SUP]8 [/SUP]He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. [SUP]9 [/SUP]Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

Do you believe john? Or will you continue to listen to whatever pastor has led you astray?

thats why historical application is an essential hermeneutic.

We have to read it as the original audience would have read it, through their eyes. not ours. if we are to fully understand what is being said.

JN 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
The ten commands say do not commit murder. Jesus said if you hate your brother, you have commited murder. the ten commands would not tell you that, so you could think you were ok and obeying Gods commands, Yet break it out of hate for your brother

The ten commands say do not commit adultry. Jesus said if you look at a woman in lust, you have broken the command, the command as written could not tell you that, thus you could never commit adultry, yet look at women with lust. and be seen a sinner.

The ten commands are a basic command system which is not complete. It was never given to show you how to live morally, but to condemn you and lead you to Christ.

why do you post jn 14? I agree, If we love god we WILL keep his commands.

His commands are not just ten in number, they are many,, If you just follow the then, like saul you can be blameless. yet still guilty, because you have a false idea of what morality looks like (this was the issue of the pharisees)

smh!!

Both prophesying and preaching required people to speak.

if it was a sin for a woman to speak. she could not prophesy either.. think man think!!

So, what you are saying is that you never sin anymore ? You go all day every day and commit not a single sin. Is that what you are claiming ? Just answer this so I can know exactly where you stand.

You misunderstand. She was allowed to prophesy and bring souls unto Christ "outside" the church. She was not allowed to become a preacher "inside" the church. This is what the scripture says.

I did not even say the word law in the post you responded to. So you are trying to deceive, keep it up man, and you will join many other deceivers.. I do not play childish games. I do not care how old you think you are.
