I personally hold to the view Revelation was written before the temple was destroyed in 70 AD. We see no mention of it. And in it the Spirit says judgment is coming very soon. I’m fact what happened in 70 AD very closely connects to what God said would happen to the Jews in the OT.

On his third journey he spent 2 to 3 years there teaching in roughly 54-56 A.D. Acts 19:8-10
Paul somewhat nurtured them from the isle of Miletus and made his farewell message to the elders in around 57 A.D.
Paul writes the letter tot he Church and waters them if you will in 62 A.D. and the letter shows they had done well and were doing well.
John (by tradition) moved to Ephesus in 66 A.D. and we see a church thriving and producing fruit
There seems to be a high probability that John was exiled to Patmos during the reign of Domitian 81-96 A.D form which he writes Revelation.
History seems to point to the fact that the church was dead and out of existence by 200 A.D. or before.....
SO....John wrote Revelation......from Patmos in Exile.....and when he wrote the letter the assembly at Ephesus was still in operation....John was in Ephesus in 66 A.D. Tradition speaks that John was captured during the persecution of Christians by Domitian who ruled from 81 to 96 A.D.

What do you mean by "exercise" isn't it to practice and not just say and claim or just a lip service? Do you preach about a genuine saving Faith without doing anything? Is preaching not a work? Assuming that Faith alone saves, can a person have Faith and be saved without someone preaching to them the Gospel of salvation?
If you are a preacher, can you say that you are not doing a work? If it is so then what are you doing? Is preaching the Gospel of our salvation irrelevant or unnecessary to our salvation? Does it embellish or add anything to your Faith ALONE doctrine?

If “ Faith ALONE" saves, can one have faith without hearing the message? The verses below proves that a work is needed and essential to salvation….PREACHING.

Who are those RUNNING AHEAD and DOES NOT CONTINUE IN THE TEACHING OF CHRIST?
They are those who CLAIM SALVATION is by Faith ALONE and ONCE SAVED they are ALWAYS SAVED therefore rejecting God’s Laws and commands which are in fact God’s own words. says that even obedience to God cannot save anyone because they are works and Faith ALONE saves.
Who then is the deceiver and the ANTICHRIST?
They are those who do not continue in the teaching about WALKING IN LOVE which is WALKING IN OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS. Who do not acknowledge Jesus as coming in the flesh by the mere fact that they reject the LAW that prophesied about Jesus as coming in the flesh.

The True Gospel teaches LOVE and OBEDIENCE and not DISOBEDIENCE.
