I'd had better meals, even in an hotel. The beef jerky tasted like an overgrown fungus seeped in coconut oil, and the only thing they sent to eat it with was a plastic spork...useful as neither fork nor spoon.

Yes, I was thinking of the song “I Am the Walrus” by the Beatles, which is taken from Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass (bits, anyway). I think Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is borrowed from Alice. I just watched the Kate Beckinsale version Friday night. It is trippy, but very good. They quote all of the poems except for The Lion and the Unicorn. My lifelong dream is to go to the United Kingdom.Same here

I was out playing with my pet snail, Smoky, when I got a whiff of a fragrance. I thought it might be the scent of Valvoline motor oil, but was not for sure. I adjourned from playing with my pet snail and used Morse code to contact my buddy, Sal, and he said it was Pennzoil, not Valvoline. I think Sal is lying to me, because that fragrance was not Pennzoil at all. I'd bet dollars to donuts its Valvoline.
