Same thing happens to me. I come here to play and everyone is in la la land sleeping. It is true about the swearing which is a word for taking an oath. It is also used to describe cursing too. Cursing is also a term for wishing harm on people. You should always make your yes "Yes" and your no "No." Anything beyond that and you may regret. Be careful when making an oath to God because He will expect you to fulfil it. Of course, He will also forgive you if you fail to do so.
Yes, that's what it says in the good book. It pleases me greatly that you read your bible and seem to have a very good understanding on the Word of God at this early stage of your life. I am most impressed with you and it is a pleasure and a privilege to have you join us here. Perhaps everyone will awaken from their slumber mayo-abit later.

Thank you very much and m very grateful for God's grace over me... to be honest, i don't think i have read the exact passage that it came out from but i took a break from reading and behold the word of our heavenly father came unto me like the dove descending on His son...... my bible is kjv so i guess the word came to me in kjv version and i must say.... that is a really good kjv translation
The KJV is my favorite version of the bible especially the NKJV which is basically the same but a little more modern. It's very poetic and the words flow smoothly and freely. I have read other versions and while they are still the Word of God too I find them lacking in some regards. I want my bible to start Genesis with "In the beginning...". Any other words or description is just doesn't seem the same to me.
