For the past 3 days I've been working so I missed most of the fellowhip. I talk a little funny sometimes 'casue I was in speech therapy for 6 years during grade school. Talked even funnier back then. Of course, I didn't think it was funny when the students all laughed at me. I just wanted to hide somewhere where no one could find me. Today, talking funny is a source of amusement to me because nobody can hurt me anymore.
We've missed you too lovely - always glad to see you! :)

It was good for your breakfast I oughta know I ate it! And I would only recommend the best for you! (2 Daniel Translation): "You screwed up and missed it - he hoarded the whole thing and is making it sound like he wants it to be yours now to cover himself in his gluttony." LOL Wait that may have simply been the paraphrased version instead ....LOL

I love that translation! It's richly texturised, pastyoureyes, homogenised and improvised LOL :D Pass me the buck hahahhahahahahhaa :D

I like my French Toast slices thick too. Can't find Texas Toast here for some reason so I buy a fresh baked loaf at the bakery and slice it myself. Yeah, I love maple syrup much better than Mrs. Butterworth's. Usually we eat it with sliced fresh berries on top with whipped cream. The way I prepare it leaves a nice caramelized texture on top. It's my specialty. My wife loves it. I used to make it for my daughter when she was little every Saturday morning. She now makes it the same way that I do for her kids. The tradition has been passed down.
Awesome! Sounds delectably delicious! It reminds me of my Belgium Waffles with hot syrup and cold ice cream on top. It sounds bad but it is sooooo good! When is your next batch we will be over in a flight time!:eek::p

I had an experience as a younger lad with an older boy who was in High school a Senior, compared to my Elementary position at the time.. His Dad was rich and we went on a day hunt, a Saturday. I was 11ish then and his Dad was against us going hunting together even though I only took a BB gun with me while my friend had the real deal, and on that trip in the mountains we trekked in on foot leaving his truck on an inner region in the woods. Later after we were done we got back to the truck and it was stuck in the mud from all the rain that started, we tried everything but to no avail, God had us there and that was that!

We ended up hiking until we met up with a dirt road and some how, (ok, by God's grace), we had a car pass by and it was about 10:30 pm which was dark for hours prior. The people who picked us up were drunk and just out for a few non-Christian activities, but we had no room to bark any creeds at them - we were just so thankful to God we accepted their offer to drive us into town. But I found out later, his Dad was trying to see how to rent a helicopter to go find us...WOW! Really?? (But that is another storyline for another day LOL).

Anyway, my point is after that His son and I were very very close even though we were years apart in ages. His name was David. And it was even because of our age difference we both had new things God showed us and we learned from Him in that interchange of relational friendship seeking God.

At first he was reluctant to admit to his friends we were friends at all, but from that point on he didn't care what they thought for we were indeed close friends based on the struggle of circumstances shared.. When we experience God's commission together it is like that, we suffer for His name sake together as we love the world and even God's enemies there. Its like the comrade on a sports team, you have to overcome in the reality of the mix to gain victory and claim a voice for your team! You bond thru those moments of overcoming with a purpose. I am closer to some here because of those moments and experiences for sure...May God continue to bless us as we lay out our life sacrificially for His name sake and gain a stronger bond in Christ because of it! Amen..
I just read this now - and yes I pressed Like before I even read it because I already knew I would Like it (love it) because I do Like (love lol) all your posts. Thank you for sharing this experience - and maybe next time you can tell us about that helicopter lol! And of course I'm going to Amen this! So:

Oops I meant to say:

I like how you phrased that, 'speed bumps'. That's a very interesting concept. I'm going to give that some thought. I might have learned something just now. :)

I love Proverbs as I have learned a few things by reading e. The interesting thing about this verse is that the 'word' should be spoken in due season. I believe that there is a time and a place for everything though I believe that is from Eclesiastes.

Ok, as I have been to medical school let us evaluate your Coffee intake concerns LOL :) ..First as I read your posts it looks as if you are up to 15 cups a day is that about right? ... LOL ... The point of washing others feet is that they are dirty first so as to compare the difference. No guts no glory as they say....LOLOL (lots of laughing out loud).:D...
