It is obvious to the casual observer that you live in a fools paradise of liberalism. When the government takes guns only the criminals will have guns. In states where the gun laws are lax criminals mostly go to other states. Too many of them get shot attacking concealed carry people.
you don't even know me....lol and yet i am a foolish liberal lol hahaha...

When "they" decide to disarm us, our children will be their ace-in-the-hole.
They'll issue an ultimatum: give up your guns, or they take your children.
Anyone found to have lied will lose both, and possibly their life.
This will probably happen within 50 years.
Be a lot of dying when that goes down................

The concept of no guns in the US is very liberal/progressive. They are the ones who want to grab all guns. So if the shoe fits wear it. Their flaw is then only the criminals would have guns. Britain is having that problem with home invasions more common. When it happens and someone that kept their gun uses it to defend their home they are arrested for having an illegal gun. Texas and other states where the gun laws are more lax they have only a small amount of home invasions. Criminals doing that go to the more restrictive states like NY.

They should make a law that forbids all liberals from owning guns....
And they should have to place a sign outside their home that says "THIS HOME IS A GUN FREE ZONE".

Great idea. It would diminish the number of liberals drastically. After a few home invasions the liberals would become more conservative quickly.

I have often wondered what would happen if gun haters would put a sign in their yard stating: "This is a gun free home".

Why do you think they don't do it? Doesn't that make them hypocrites?

I'm still thinking (perhaps over-thinking) my EDC firearm. I really like my PT111 G2, but, truth be told, it is a little "fatter" than is comfortable/concealable. I can live with it, but if an equally dependable, ergonomically great pistol comes along that is slimmer, I would probably go with it.

I need to go check one of these Sigs out. It is the 938... with controls very similar to the grand old 1911 type of pistol. Ambi safety, and it holds 7 rounds.

This is actually a slightly scaled up version of my wife's P238 .380, which is a dream to shoot. (for a pocket sized .380)

The only drawback on this one is the price. It is in the $650-700 ballpark... which is not completely "un-doable", but it will require some finagling...

I can get it in OD green, which would match my wife's .380, or in desert tan, which I sort of like.... actually, it may be called Flat Dark Earth, instead of desert tan... a rose is still a rose...

I've always maintained that Sigs are what would have happened if Browning lived a few extra decades.

Though FN bears more of his genes.

I'm pretty disappointed with the latest FN offering. The latest Sig offering too come to think of it. They're kings of the DA/SA, but their strikers couldn't even include a proper drop safety.

Yes... something is wrong with the P365... it promises to be an excellent pistol, but almost nobody has them in stock. Can't get them. If I decide on the P365, I will likely wait a year or so, to see what the reviews are after some time has passed.

the 938 has been out for a few years now, and apparently had a few bugs early on, but it seems that most of those bugs have been worked out.

Either way, the PT111 will always be around as a fall-back.... I wouldn't be hurt at all if that was the only one I ever had.

been there... done that.

Mine was the mid sized .40.... model, what, 23? It was ok. No problems.

Actually, there's nothing wrong with a Glock, I just don't like the platform as much as I like some others. I've always wanted one in 10mm. That one might be close to a "do everything" pistol. Ammo cost would be the big drawback... but I don't shoot nearly as much as I used to, so that is not as big a deal as it used to be....

See, I really do like Glocks...but the thing about the Glocks I've handled is that they're all super beefy, which equals no good for my small hands. The Sig that I was looking at was much slimmer, easier to hold, conceal, etc.

Handled the Sig this afternoon, and the Kimber Micro 9. Both were nice. The Kimber is smoother, with a melted appearance. The Sig still "felt" better, for some reason. It's about $100 more than the Kimber.

I watched a Hickock 45 video review of it. He liked it.

What do you mean. If dropped they could go off without the trigger being pulled. I thought all striker fired guns had a transfer bar to prevent that. I need to research that a little more.

Sig P320 had a lot of issues with drop safety malfunctions.

I was as shocked as you are when I first heard it.
