lol Naw you have Heard Me confess Jesus is the Christ, THE SON of the Living God. as the Bible teaches
ans Let Me say it this way, about a Month ago you said to Me on this site " your a liar i believe Jesus teachings i dont disagree with even One"
Now Im saying that Jesus word, is Not seperate from His sacrifice, and if someone is saying " the cross elimiunates Gods Word" its a Herecy 100 percent, and is of satans forked tongue. that is what im saying very clearly.
Now Back to the relevant subject. " when we ask forgiveness it ignores the " finished work of the cross" <<<< thats Mans idea this is the proof of that to you, wise Mr Mcgee, ( actually Mean that bro) Hopefully you might see My point Here. Now consider this Jesus, who you are clear " IS GOD" who is the Only One who can ever give salvation, the Only One who its impossible for Him to Not be right, who says specifically " My WORDS will never Pass away"
He says this
Matthew 6 :
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.11Give us this day our daily bread.12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Heres My question to you.......Am I wrong to agree 100 Percent with Jesus the Lord? or should i try to twist the Bible, to make it say what it doesnt? should i say hmmmm " did God really say. when I pray ask forgiveness? did God really say " if i forgive others,He will forgive Me. if i do not, Niether will He?"
On what Planet, are Christians supposed to disregard Jesus Christs teachings, which HE SAYS Keep them do not ever part from them, i will send the spirit to remind you of them...lol come on brother. Have you bought into the gog ? i believe you trust Jesus. think about what He said about salvation, Only He has the authoruity to offer it. so do we need to ask forgiveness when we sin even though Jesus died? do we Need to Believe what He say about forgiveness....Being He said it would be preached in all the world, and then the end would come?
watch out for any method that tries to get you to see Jesus as Not right regarding salvation. the fruit Looked really delicious and seemed good for food......it didnt Lead to life though. On the Other Hand, what God said, turned Out to Be the truth" adam died and so did all Mankind. go with the One God sent. agrre with Jesus and you cant go wrong thats a fact.
First of all
Jesus is the word
and came as God in the flesh
secondly even though ben has touched on this
i will too
Did not Jesus speak to those under the Law with the Law to lead them to Himself? He said to them if they had believed Moses they would've believed in Him. I can surely assume that you did not pluck out your eyes, or cut off your arm to enter Heaven an amputee than to enter Hell whole, did you?
You understand what Jesus was saying, yes? Perfection is God's standard. Today Jesus says to the believer, not to cut off his arm or take out his eye, but to believe in the Son of God, that He died on the cross for your sins and resurrected on the third day (unto your justification, and reconciliation to God).
We must keep in mind the audience Jesus spoke with, and the time in which He spoke.

28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them,
This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me
I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me
I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day

matthew 19
16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
_________
Jesus was telling this man how to be perfect
this man believed his works regarding the commandments were perfect (including loving his neighbor as himself)
Jesus is saying ohhhhh is that so?
then give up all your things and follow me
(to expose where this mans heart really was.... it is not evil to have possessions)
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
____________
again same principal
Luke 10
25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
(again a man looking to be justified by works)
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
(this man believes he actually does this fully)
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
(Jesus says knowing this man is self righteous yaaa thats all you need then if you are correct)
29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
(as if he truely does this knowing Jesus does not believe him asks ohhh who is my neighbor maybe i am wrong mockingly)
30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
____________
that amount of money
as well as offering for excess was .... a lot of money at that time....
this exposes that man who believed he was doing these things is actually wrong......
he does not love his enemy as himself as he ought to in order to be perfect
let alone his literal neighbor....
people try to take and mix up
reproof
instruction for righteousness
the law
and works
and try to say a man needs more than grace and faith to be saved (which isnt true)
by the way
John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
