If I learn religious traditions which cause me to transgress the commandments of God..."

you cannot find even one or two people in your area who believe in a way that is acceptable to you?

the Corinthians had serious problems going on there, yet Paul met with them when he was in town

Jesus and Paul attended synagogues, sometimes with demon possessed people

they took along disciples and traveling companions
Fascinating,

Are you really going to try and make the case that Jesus "fellowshipped" and sat around singing Kumbaya with the Mainstream Preachers of His time who were "Transgressed the Commandments of God by their own religious traditions, and who "Taught for Doctrines the Commandments of Men", not from God?

"Beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees". "you are from your father the devil". Am I to ignore these Words just so I can belong so some religious franchise social club? Did Jesus "conform" to the Mainstream Religion He was born into? Did He tell them it was OK to create your own images of God and your own instructions?

Consider these Word's of the Word which became Flesh.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
This broad path that "Many" enter, do you believe these "many" know it's a path to destruction? Do the leaders of this path declare "come follow us on the path to destruction"?

I would say not. I would say these leaders of this "Path" tell the people, "Come follow us on the path to life", not "come follow us on the path to destruction"? Why do I believe this? Because of the Word's of the Gospel.

Is. 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

and again:

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Jesus warned about a specific group of people. It seems like you would want to know who they are.

The time is coming..has come when we no longer need to worship in a certain place as for inst a church, town,city...but IN SPIRIT wherever we are Joh 4v21-24.
i don't think that means we would never gather with other believers

Together you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of that body.

So, brothers and sisters, what should you do? When you meet together, one person has a song, and another has a teaching. Another has a new truth from God. Another speaks in a different language,[c]*and another person interprets that language. The purpose of all these things should be to help the church grow strong.*

we do have fellowship with the Father and the Son

but this
encouraging one another to love and good works, exhorting one another

takes place in a physical place
with other humans

Acts 2: 1. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord
in one place.
When Pentecost gets here I am gathered in one place with a group of believers who exhort each other every year.

Exhorting the "brethren" to God's Love, and to the "Good" Works He created before hand that we should walk in them has not been very well received on this forum.

Saying such things will get you placed on ignore and labeled a heretic.

speaking of opinions, you never answered my question from yesterday, in another thread. are Paul's letters authoritative Scripture or not?
I'll take a crack at that one. Your understanding of Paul's letters does not make void any of the Word's of the Christ. So Paul's letters do have Authority, but your representation of them do not. IMO.

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

Acts 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

1 cor. 719 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

He gathered with unbelievers to tell them the truth about God's Words that the Mainstream Church of his time had corrupted for centuries.

The translation you shopped for and use is an interesting one to be sure.

Studyman,

It's not about what is acceptable to me. But I understand you must deflect and try and make it about me. I have many brothers with whom I fellowship with. Some on this very forum.

I have tried to find where the Bible teaches I need to belong to a religious franchise which has X number of followers but it isn't there.

Actually according to the Bible, I must "Take Heed" of such places to avoid deception.

even though they had many problems

John 5 v.39- Jesus says to the Pharisees- " you search the Scriptures because in them you think there is eternal life....

so, there. a little lesson for you, for free.

now, here is what you are doing. you are practicing reductionism. the practice of taking one or two verses, without including any more, on one subject, and declaring them as absolute truth. if you want truth, you will look at every verse, not selective editing.

I just believe in the Word which became Flesh over you and your religious tradition Dan.
21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

It's either a lie, or it's the truth. there is no in between. Jesus said the "Truth" shall set us free. Free from what? What one thing did Jesus and His Disciples warn about over and over?

Deception Dan. Deceiving men is what "many", who come in Christ's name, "SHALL DO". You said it yourself. No one believes the way I do. But the whole religious mainstream Christian world believe as you do, religious traditions, man made doctrines and all.

I am on this forum to discuss these truths in fellowship of the brethren as instructed.

Where else was Jesus to learn about Himself Dan? As He said.

2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

How did Jesus the man learn this if He didn't go to the Synagogue? They all didn't have Bibles like you and me.

If only you would practice what you preach, we would agree on this. The fake preachers of Christ's time also read the Bible and refused to accept what it tells us as Jesus explains in the very verse you use.

John 5:38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Why not G9? Why does Jesus say they can read His Words but not understand them and come to Him?

Lets ask the Word which became Flesh!!!

John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Now we could have a discussion about this, discuss the scriptures, all of them, and we could come to a mutual conclusion. But you and "many" others have been on this forum preaching the falsehood that the Pharisees were trying to "earn" Salvation by following God's Laws, which is an insidious lie.

I didn't make you preach this lie, I tried to show you where Jesus exposed the Pharisees and where HE, again HE, tells us why the Pharisees didn't listen to His Words. This is not selective editing, it is believing what is written regardless of what some mainstream preachers tells us.
