Would you at least admit that the NASB is a false witness?
Proverbs 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
Btw, notice the title of the thread. I did not come up with this thread, just responded. Don't I have that right? I would hope that if you believed you had the preserved word of God, you would stand up for it as well.[/QUOTE/]
I think the NASB and all modern translations translate from the earliest known manuscripts while I know the King James translates from the Textus Receptus which was changed to support the Christian Creeds.
The Evidence;
See Luke 9:35 God said, "This is my chosen Son" in the modern bibles but "This is my beloved Son" in the King James
James 5:4 sabaoth means host but if we knew there was a Lord of hosts we would also find there is a Lord God of hosts in the Old Testament but the Creeds argue for equality between Father and Son and we can't have that so the Hebrew word for hosts is used. (The King James reference Bible explains this.)
Revelation 1:8 and 1:11, Jesus is the Lord Almighty (that is in Corinthians) while God the Father is the Lord God Almighty.
The King James Reference Bible says the Majority Text has that Jesus is the Alpha and Omega in most manuscripts at the end of Revelation but not in the first three chapters.
John 5:7, Father, Son and Holy Spirit is not in the earliest manuscripts, inserted because the Holy Spirit is a neuter noun like "water and blood and Spirit in one accord "in the following verse, the person that added the verse wanted to emphasize the Holy Spirit is a person not a thing like water or blood.
So even though most Christians have been taught in interpret the Bible according to the Creeds, the modern Bibles translate from the earliest manuscripts without apology.
The King James Bible support the Christian Creeds which is a good place to start understanding but know they were written to defeat Arius and when one argues to win, the truth can get muddied.
Now prove my facts before arguing with my conclusions.
