Crying is good for your soul :) Grief helps bring into sharper focus that which we value. Unless you mean tears of joy? The same principle would apply :D Perhaps I speak only for myself in this part, to say: I am glad I can still cry, both tears of sorrow, and tears of joy :)

lol it's the next line to the song that was quoted on here," I always feel like somebody's watching me"... however, as a single parent who very rarely gets a week-end off or a holiday it is actually very relevant to me right now. In fact I have been struggling badly with overwhelming circumstances and I felt like I just wanted to shut myself away from everything and every-one for about. Ironically this chat site is helping me because it's a form of escapism for me and maybe an answer to prayer. Thankyou for caring.

Hi Skylar - I have gone thru schedule changes and work-related things that to be honest with you is the pits. But it is not only God's grace that has been sufficient for me, it is fellowship that points us to the miracle of supernatural normalcy in Christ. In other words, I don't hide from the mess anymore I climb right in with it and embrace it in Christ, because God lifts me above the crisis and into His arms even as I experience it. I pray you feel welcome here, but then again, I have faith people welcome you here. Its the devil; not the circumstances - that's trying to steal our joy that is Christ's to give...so join me in singing a big "See Ya!" to the evil one and his influences Amen Chow the rest of ya I am off to that work circumstance we just spoke about ...LOL

There are a lot of peeps that care about you and I know that everyone on this thread does as well because here we are like a little close-knit family that genuinely care about each other. There are also other single parents here on this site so please know that you are not alone in this.

How old are you Skylar? Not that is really relevant but I just like to get to know the peeps better that God has allowed our paths to cross.

This site has been a tremendous blessing to me since I joined over 4 years ago and I have come to know a few of the members very well. I even married one of them. I pray that this site becomes a safe haven for you. It could very well be a form of escapism but I do realize that the peeps here are very real and not virtual with real feelings and emotions.

Someone is indeed watching over you and that is God. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
