I JUST saw that, dear lady! That thread came to a stop without you.
It was nice to see you and Lucy having some fun with questions! :)

I shall do my best to keep it alive! It's such a great learning tool. I've learned so much from everyone that has played! :)

I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every namethat is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. ~[Ephesians 1:16-23].

I have insomnia, I've had it for years. Four to six hours is all I usually get for sleep of a night.

Pray with me for a man I know who is a disciple of Jesus but who struggles with a certain thought. I have been his friend and a partner in parenting in Christ as well, but as he is human he struggles with certain preconceived notions of God. It is a weight on his shoulder as well as a hinderance to the eyesight into God's Wisdom. I love him dearly and I would love for someone to pray he is lifted from mindful prejudice toward God. Thank you for those who pray for him, his name is John - for you shall be blessed as well.

He is one of these people who finds the fisherman's art; and the shepherd's art poetic until he tries it. But isn't that true of us all? As worker's for God we have to learn to make room for God - to give God 'elbow room.' We calculate and estimate, and say that this and that will happen, and we forget to make room for God to come in as He chooses.

Would we be surprised if God came into our meeting (or into our preaching even) in a way we had never looked for Him to come? I am convinced that we must not look for God to come in any particular way, but that we must simply look for Him. That is the way to make room for Him. We need to expect Him to come, but we should not expect Him to come in any particular way. This is the weight my friend and co-worker in Christ is fighting satan with. I thank You for your support in prayer! This is a call to arms, a call to the armor of God for him, and a call to intercessory prayer for us. Thank you.

Six hours of sleep is pretty good.

If I had insomnia, I think I would make myself do 20 minutes of cardio right before bed. Maybe it would wear me out and cause me to sleep.

Well, Didy, you seem to be coherent and make perfect sense so, 4 to 6 hours must be all you need. :)

I do enjoy a full 8 hours, or I get sarcastic! Still laughing but, not in a nice way! LOL! ;)

"Sweet Heavenly Father, we include John in this prayer for all of us. You know all our thoughts and the intentions of our hearts. We pray for all of us that You would infill us with Your Spirit of Truth - the Holy Spirit and cause our thoughts and hearts to be pleasing in Your sight, today and forever. In the Name of Jesus, amen. (Thank you for hearing us, Father.) :)

I'm not sure what you're asking, specifically, but if it's what I think,I pray that for all saints every day. Nevertheless, in case I misunderstood I've joined my prayers to yours-in His name.

This too is in His hands for us to lay at His feet. I will keep you in my prayers for good health and sober judgement. I think a person can maintain on six but four is pushing it, unless you nap without calculating that in. But I also understand, for I too, am a sleep manipulator. It is not that I cannot sleep, it is that I chose not to from time to time. I must let God balance that all out. I give Him my sleep as well; for this part of my life as a whole. And He returns to me wisdom on when to say 'no' to other things. Yet, He also commissions me to invest in eternal things when He desires to do so. I am a healthy man who sleeps less than becc, for instance, for I am older and don't need 8-9 hrs any longer.

Did'y I will pray that nothing controls you, but rather that you control all things in Christ. If you chose in Christ (4-6 hrs of sleep) so be it, for I am not to judge Christ or you, but if it is a weight on you, this God has power to take back from satan in other words. May God share His wisdom with us all in this.

I meant for you to pray for John not to have mindful prejudice before God. But you have also prayed, and I ask God to bless you as well, as my prayer.
