he didn't answer me either

and by the way, I certainly do not disagree with you all the time

I prefer to not talk about loosing salvation (I think an argument can be made in either direction but not going to make one because of the confusing posts concerning the commandments of Jesus and the strawman arguments they seem to engender)

I honestly see confusing works, fruit and obedience as one of the major problems the OSAS crowd has in that they will pretty consistently come back with 'no one said we can continue to sin'

really, the ONLY answer to that quip, is 'no one said you said that'

it really becomes a little brother to the OSAS 3000 thread

I think it is common for men to have disagreements especially given all the different doctrines out there. Disagreements lead to pride, which should lead to humiliation, which is the greatest medicine for man there is IMO. I have learned a great deal from my participation on this forum and have been corrected several times, and humiliated, which I am in need of.

I enjoy your point of view and I don't always disagree with you either.

I also know I am nothing special. God isn't going to come down in a bright light and correct me. He is going to use someone, probably someone I don't know, to spark me to consider another view or consider His Word I may have missed or forgotten.

I look for this in almost every post on this forum, at least I strive to.

OSAS is a dangerous doctrine we have been warned of for centuries. "Saying Peace, Peace, when there is no peace".

Thank you for the thoughtful reply.

Just to bring to remembrance what sme are saying. So the truth gets out there about a certain person.

By your post you are probably already aware that many believe Paul was privy to truth not yet revealed to the Twelve Apostles, that Paul had new good news for all. Paul never made this claim, yet people , not all of course, put this o him.
There are people who believe that Paul is the Master of the converts to Jesus Christ, by master I mean the teacher, and this is a great apostasy.

It is fascinating isn't it. They claim Paul to the ultimate New Testament teacher, yet they refuse to accept his own words regarding his teaching.

Obviously you are just after me personally or you would already know just how many times I have posed in many threads but let us stick to this one, and that many times, that Paul teaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Now what in the blazes is your beef with me now? Are you afraid I may pass on the words of Jesus christ? I do and I will, so wath the accusitive posting tome and to all who believe Jesus Christ.

The chiip you came in with is obvious......stay away unless you can muster up the love of God given you..

See, and people defend this nonsense.

It is always everyone elses fault, first EG, then others lately grandpa, and now ljs,

it is sickening to think this person does all this in the name of christ.

HUH ?

what was sad about how I addressed you ? it was the truth !

I just called you out on what you teach , I have nothing against you , but I will not let false teaching go unanswered !
Be very careful calling a blood bought , spirit indwelt believer a pagan !

Its ok for him to call other people names, but how dare we say a thing about him

hypocricy at its finest.

no you did not

you just repeated what is always said by those who want to limit their own understanding to the comfortable zone of OSAS

again, I never mentioned salvation

this is my question to you:

can you express in YOUR words what you think the commandments of Jesus really mean and how we keep them?

I don't care if you answer or not, but that is what I have been posting about

not about salvation

not about what you think I said

not about the law

not about whether or not we keep the law

not about trying to get likes from others or reps from others...mind you, thanks to those who gave them...not complaining

so answer or not, but I am clever enough to know a dodge when I see one

i believe he and many others have said multiple times it is by following the law of love.

Is he and the rest of us wrong?

Disagreements are fine, we all have them

slander and false accusations is a sin.

Legalism is dangerous, far more dangerous than OSAS, it places the onus on men, and takes it away from God.

Who?????

you gnre much of pauls words and want to throw this strawman out?

dont argue with a point that can be used against you, it is fruitless

you continue to falsely accuse me

i dont know if you think thats love

but i can assure you it is not

anyways you asked

and i replied

if you dont like my answer that i did indeed give to your question

and seem to wrongly assume i did so for others approval

maybe stop your false accusations against one of Gods children and actually talk

ok
ill try again

i wont add too much scripture which you keep trying to admonish me for posting

you > "can you express in YOUR words what you think the commandments of Jesus really mean and how we keep them?"

Matthew 22:36-40
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

i believe this mean to put God first before all things
at all times in love

every moment of every day

and i believe to love our neighbor as ourself

is to want the best for them to the point of sacrifice

(which is why i posted the verses i posted that support this)

and how we "keep" them?

well we examine ourself and pray constantly to see if we are walking according to the spirit

and our performance in this i believe represents how fruitful we are as His children

I'm gonna get flack for this, I'm sure, but I don't care. This place has gone from good to absolutely pathetic. The people on it too, some act very low caliber. :/ This forum is the most hated, despised, controversial forum on this site. The regulars here warn newbies to not even come in here!!! What does that say about everyone here? It tells them that no one here can act as grown ups, OR Christians, and have more hate than love in their hearts. Is it any wonder why newbies leave after a couple days of seeing the BS that goes on here? Even regulars have left because they're tired of being treated like crap on someone's feet.

You guys do a terrific job of scaring GOOD people off the site, while the BAD apples get allowed to stay here and further divide the people here. I hope you're proud of yourselves, because Jesus sure isn't.

Maybe you don't care if you act Christ like or not. Maybe your egos really ARE that bloated. Maybe you don't care that you don't represent Jesus in your words and actions. I dunno.

I think maybe everyone here needs to examine their Christianity. Maybe then we can separate the wolves and vipers from the sheep..

By all means, carry on with your convo.. Rant over.

so many damnable heretics! aahahahahahhaha lol

i can deal with heretics, i can deal with disagreements, i can deal with people who think the earth is young o r old, or think the rapture will happen pre, mid or post trib, or not all all.

i have no respect for liars who lie through their teeth about others, then preach obedience 24/7.

I was just joking brother, everyone is entitled to their own opinion its just that BDF has a tendency for everyone to call others with opposing viewpoints as "heretics or sinners" i was just pointing out the irony...

I know bro, i was just venting, did not mean anything against you. Forgive me if i came across wrong. And i agree with you

There's nothing to forgive brother, as you did nothing wrong....just pointing out a general bdf observation that's all :) carry on with your original conversation :)

the Law of the Creator, as James said and as Yahshua Himself said it takes YHWH’s mercy and our faith and works. Romans 10:4 is a verses mistranslated in the majority of Bibles thus blurring the lines of truth. Christ is not “the end of the Law” but rather Yahshua showed the intent, ultimate result or goal (telos) of keeping the Law of YHWH.

Sir, could you read Galatians 2:16-19.

Are you aware that in Galations 6:2 it does actually mention that there is a 'law of Christ'? Do we know what that law is?

Thanks bro,, and that conversation is no fun, i wish i could have a more positive convo.

The Galatians were in danger of losing the benefit of Christ in justification because they turned back to the law for justification. We don't know if they came back to their senses or not, just what would happen if they did not

Post the exact scripture from Galatians where it plainly says a saved person can lose their salvation.

Or any Scripture for that matter that clearly says that.
