I like getting a haircut.

My wife makes me get a hair cut. If it were up to me I would probably look like a hippy. Probably get on in the next week or two. We always wait for a coupon in the mail but will get a haircut regardless.

I LOVE gettin my hair done... Makes me feel SO much better and always lifts my spirits ^_^

Anything that can lift one's spirit I a very good thing.

I read that book too. I wonder if the number 42 was chosen because of some biblical significance?

I'm seriously considering another career. At my age I have just enough time. I desire a change in my work dynamic. I have prayed on this and at the point where I must make a move in a more positive direction.

You are never too late to start anew. Colonel Sanders was in his 70's (?) when he started KFC, and Grandma Moses was in her eighties when she started painting and Georgia O'Keefe was active very late in life. (80's and 90's, I think.)

So, God willing, you could possibly have another 20 to 30 years of productivity. If you act like it is possible, it is more likely to happen.

BTW, what career are you considering, brain surgeon, extreme athlete, gardener, POTUS?

You absolutely get to stay on my friends list. The other day I pruned 3 or 4 off it as I really didn't know who they were as they rarely posted and didn't interact with me at all. I think that there are 44 names left to consider. Started with 51. I will probably end up with 25 or 30 but we'll see. I really just want those that I truly consider my friend to stay on the list. I am honored that you are on my friend's list. I talk to the peeps here too more than my immediate family except for Darlene.
