My people didn't use tipis, but a tipi was the perfect abode for the Plains people,and most of them lived in them but. The main reason was the shape, which was perfect for the harsh Winters and high winds-because they wouldn't tip over or blow away. The smokehole, or smoke flap, let smoke from a fire pit leave the tipi. Extreme cold in wintertime made a fire necessary in winter.

That’s cool, very interesting bro. I’m asking because we, in Samoa have traditional houses as well, made out of wood and flax and catered for mostly shelter from the blazing sun :)

Your testimony of this truth in 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 is for you today I imagine, but for sure it is a truth and reality that spans all of His body and Children. I will not say no to what you have said wise one, because it is the truth. I have my testimony everyone has theirs; However, I know a few who would think they are anything by their personal efforts ..., I give God all the glory, I give Him all the praise for ever and ever Amen

I am still learning about this book Thomas spoke of with the ladies in 1908-09, and all the interesting things in it written in 1980 and all. Its kind of cool to me...I even see a Thomas in here...LOL

My great-grandfather, Bernard Jerry, is in there. Him and I-ees Steve(my cousin)were the two men who impressed the schoolmarms in school. I've been to the old school sites, but the buildings are long gone.
