I've finally got my desk assembled. I should be able to keep up with you happy posters. I will have ketchup with some of the threads I have kinda let go.

I will do this. Like everyone here she is very clever and amusing. She has a story to tell also as do we all. Yeah, she likes fun too. She will probably serve cookies here because that's what she does.

We should praise the Lord in all things. That was interesting what you said about showing Him our appreciation. I will have to ponder this. I say thank you a lot but not sure if that's really a tangible form of appreciation. I'm not sure if I really considered this before in the way that you described. Maybe I learned something here today. I do appreciate you too. :)

When someone can inspire you beyond themselves yet own it themselves and offer it to you - they are a Meaningful person. When you see HUFL or Pure Sugar or Mrs. Peabody - you see also her personality granted her, and she becomes a wonder to behold. It is a Crossroads of loyalty to her God and His Word and her delightful charm and warmth - that all humans are privileged to experience.

God would have us all be as she is an example.

I asked her and she is considering this. She used to be a regular member of the Speak Your Mind thread that's been going on for several years. My wife writes in spurts but she loves this site too. She is also a very spiritual person so I know that she will fit right in. She has a lot of wisdom too that has been acquired through-out the years.

I guess that is why it was so hard for me to get dates. I often couldn't afford to buy any better. It probably would have helped if I had gotten a muffler for my car too. lol

Thankyou Mr Peabody - that's so sweet! Mrs Peabody approves greatly Amen - just kidding. Let the Lord be praised for it is He who orchestrates our steps and makes our way smooth. :)
 
I like many of Andy Stanley's videos and series of video's he puts out because I would put out the same videos if I were him...but alas I am not him. But as God makes me - me - we can benefit from his gift as he shares with us God's truths - where the rubber meets the road. I love that. Practical application of His Word. I know many don't have the time to watch stuff, but here is one section of them I like and will share. But if it gives you insight into current relationships - I invite you to look into more of his stuff. I like his ministry:

I was born in Germany but I didn't flip any wagons over. I have been to 3 different countries and 32 states but have yet to go to Iowa. I plan on doing that in the next couple years so I can cross it off my list. God willing, I want to see all 50 states and probably another country or two.

For my marriage ceremony I brought a pair of scissors. I took them apart (giving me two unattached scissors and a little screw) and said that each scissor is like a single person. It can be used but it is not all God designed it to be.

But when each is centered on, and tightly connected to God (the screw), they function as they are designed to.

I'm so touched by this - I've had to come back and say that this is by far the most beautiful thing anybody has ever said - thank you and you know how precious you are to me - I am always inspired when I'm around you.

I enjoyed your analogy. I guess that in my first marriage there was a loose screw.
 
I have to step out for a couple of hours or so - I will miss you all and was hoping for more of a ketchup LOL. Byeeeeeeeeeee for now :)
