I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of women who think that all men are dogs. If you women don't think that there are no more good christian men out there who are single, well nice to meet ya I'm one.

I can understand where you're coming from. In some ways it's like the saying "90% of men give the rest a bad name." I saw a movie on the airplane called "Superbad" and I was like "Eeeeww... do guys really think like that????" But, I do know that there are lots of guys out there (hopefully a lot more than 10%) who are committed to purity and treating women with respect and not just a means to an end. Furthermore, we women need to bear in mind that just because women are different from men doesn't mean we're any less sinful. My mother tends to believe that men are no good, other than a precious few like my dad and her dad. She's a little jaided from first seeing her sister in an abusive marriage, and then seeing so many of her friends have been left by their husbands for other (usually younger) women. I have one friend who's mom left her dad for a younger man "I was like see Mom, it's not always the man leaving the woman for another." No, I'm kidding, I didn't say it... but I was thinking it. My mom also speaks of the gender imbalance in Christianity. While there does seem to be more women than men (it doesn't just seem, there is) and most of the good Christian men I know my age are married, I am nonetheless surprised at how many of my Christian guy friends just can't seem to find the right girl. I'm surprised some Christian girls don't just come in there and swoop them up.
I also feel sorry for guys when women judge them rashly and just assume they're like "all the rest." And furthermore, I feel sorry for guys when women punish them for all the ways other men have hurt them.

One of my best friends is a guy and he is totally devoted to God. And hes single. But i cannot work out if he likes me or not! lol. Good christian men are confusing, you as a christian girl often wonder whether they like you or not. but men are not dogs, well not all of them!

yea i was just recently talking to a girl about this. that soooo many guys treat girls so bad that the parents lose trust, the girls lose trust, and then everything gets messed up for guys that actually care about a real relationship, not a sexual relationship, just cuz so many guys think like that and so many girls get hurt. so yea...thats my opinion. hope everybody has an amazing day!!!

Beta7, I Ainte trying to get with ya, but age ainte nothing but a number. Especialy if your an adult. Its what's inside that counts, not all men that are there age act there age you know. I once liked a girl who was 29 and christian, she knew I liked her but for her it wasn't wierd because of my maturity. I ainte trying to get with ya, but alway's keep that in mind ma.

Perhaps it's just a reflection of the wicked corrupt and fallen world in which we live, but it's true none the less.
Girls (Christians and otherwise) might all say they want to marry a nice loving godly man who will love them forever and treat them like a princess, but the cold reality is they will fall in love with the arrogant sleezy druggie unemployed looser who's good with words (and then wonder why he cheats on her or gets her pregnant then leaves)
If your are one of those poor nice guys you MIGHT have a chance with the woman of your dreams if you are persistent, have status or become financially successfull.
If you are prepared to seriously compromise your integrity, then you too can become the arrogant wicked man women will love, but as Christians that's really not an option.
You might also try going to a smaller, more conservative church where the eligible serious Christian girls have limited access to boys.
It's all a sick game really, but sadly it's not a game.

Some of the most arrogant men i have ever met have been christians......... it should start to make you men wonder.... exactly WHY women go to men like this instead of you supposed "nice" guys.
From what I've observed, women get involved with the sleazy, druggie loser because they are afraid that if they wait too long they will miss Mr. Right.They see the sleazy druggie loser and think that maybe they can be the catalyst that changes him into mr. right. Course there is always that whole follow your heart thing too, and then of course the whole I'm lonely thing.
Unfortunately Mr. Right is going to see the girl he likes and then disregard her because she is with someone else and mr. right doesn't want to interfere in her relationship. After all any rational person realizes that telling a girl she is too stupid to make her own mind up is not the way to win her heart. So what we end up with is a bad case of cause and effect. Girl gets involved so she wont miss mr. right and as a result misses mr. right simply because she didn't wait.
That all being said, I'm no mind reader and as I said this is all observation. So please feel free to disagree.

I have to disagree with you on that one....... From my personal experience...Christian men are not always very accepting, especially of women who have not always been saved... they tend to be very judgmental, and have this righteous attitude about them. Its like they except nothing but perfection sometimes, ... .. and thats a very high standard to live up to, its like you must always be submissive, always cook dinner and clean the house, raise the kids at home... homeschool them when they get older.. never question decisons that the man makes or never let a woman help with any decison.. like we dont have a brain that we should just sit at home and be the submissive wife.... Where as men who might be considered losers or what have you.. there more accepting, there usually alot nicer and there standards arent so high...So its easier to be with these men. I have noticed from looking at alot of these singles forums that most of the men on here are saying they want a wife thats a virgin, or that has never kissed anyone, or that has never dated anyone, ....... Well where does that leave us women that have done all or some of those things?? because ceratainly you "nice guys" aka Christian guys, want something better than that. So its not that nice guys finish last, its that sometimes some of the best women are those you nice guys would never pick..........

Jaylynn83, you seem like a women who has went through rough relationship's with men especialy christian men. The truth is, you can't never find a man who is perfect. Women can't see the way a man is on the inside and there for, they take that chance to go out with them and find out that they wearn't who they thought they where. I know how I am, I sit back and see exactly what a women hates about christian men and there for learn from those mistakes. It's sad that women can't find a man they can trust all because of those men out there who give us a bad name. Keep believing that God is working into your life on your behalf.
X-Alt i agree with you christian and non christian men give you guys a bad name.... And for those of you who actually are geniune, its gonna be tough... because i dont think women expect it. These are just my opinions, someone might disagree with me and have better ones...
That is actually true in many ways. But the past that people bring that they have from when they were'nt saved can be hurtfull to other people,
Like i once went out with a Christian girl and she wasnt a Virgin, And I just couldnt be the same towards her after i found that out, and like she did cry when she told me because she thought i would not like her for it,
But i still liked her, It just dug under my skin and eventually we did break up because we werent getting along, and the truth is we werent getting along because of her past.
Now like she could cook and clean better than any1 and i asnt expecting that but ya you get my message.
I do agree with you there auchin, sometimes peoples pasts can be hurtful.. ... but i think you definantly proved my point about christian men being and acting certain ways.........
