Can you give me an example in the Bible of irony used? Include the Scripture if you can...otherwise the story will suffice. (Hint: there are many).
Take the beam out of your own eye, before worrying about the sliver in your neighbor's eye.
I think that's a good answer! Unless, I've got a beam in my eye and I'm not reading it correctly!! LOL! ;)

Unintentionally, the Jewish leadership of Jesus’ time made statements that were meant to be derogatory, and yet these very statements contain deep insights in the plan of salvation and Jesus’ life and ministry. According to (Luke 15:2) the Pharisees and the scribes began to grumble, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.” But this negative statement contains very good news. Because of what Jesus has done sinners like us have a chance.

In (John 11:50) Caiaphas, the high priest, exclaimed at a council of the leadership in Jerusalem: “It is expedient for you that one man die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish.” John goes on to explain the irony of the situation in the next two verses.

There are strange sayings of Jesus. In the parable of the workers in the vineyard, those who have started working last receive their wages first. And those who have worked for one hour receive the same amount as do those who have worked twelve hours. “The last will be first and the first last” (Matt 20:16). “Blessed are you poor . . .” (Luke 6:20). “For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.” (Mark 8:35). Jesus’ life and fate is ironic. As the Messiah, the king of peace, who lived to serve and save others he is crucified. The crucifixion of the Savior is an irony.

When Jesus just comes back from the dead and He must have been pumped to tell the boy's as it were the good news of completing God's plan, when He calmly stands at the shore line and asks them as they were fishing how the fishing is going, and the men don't yet recognize Him. That is ironic indeed!

Good job, Ralph! "More than conquerors" is the answer, however, I do also like Deade answer "in Christ Jesus." :)

I believe Y-shua is 100% Man and 100% G-d... He is the G-d Man...

But I believe Gen. is true when death entered the world and it encompassed all of G-d's creation... animal, plant, insect, and mankind (all of it). I do not now or will ever think the Scriptures are wrong... How 100% man Y-shua died before death entered the world I do not understand but I believe the BIBLE.... no matter what death for mankind either entered with Y-shua or with Adams sin.... either way there was no death for animals before sin entered the world and the original post, I made was about dinosaurs, so they walked with mankind... (there was another thread about did man walk with diansores, do I posted the question here when did death enter the world... ) If we died before or after the foundations of the world we were here with them.... thank you again for proving my point.

I would think of all things... calling God a man, that offends God to no end. We walk or understand God not by walking by sight after the temporal what the eyes see but do understand Him according to that not seen the eternal.

Giving Him form takes away his
identity, as the unseen things of God and gives them to the things seen, the things of men.

Satan is the first to
perform identity theft... in effect stealing God social security number, or calling card in the garden of Eden.

God is eternal Spirit and not a man as us. (Supernatural... without beginning). God does have natures he creates them out of nothing. God could never be a man. He remains without form, without mother or father. He has no beginning of Spirit life....or end thereof.

Making God into a creature that has form is how the father of lies who also has no form first offended God again in the garden Eve causing the fall and corruption. His motive of operation, bringing his lying thoughts and placing them in respect to the creature, as the things of men seen, has not changed .

Making the things of God not seen no form, into the things of men as that seen is still his method of operation. A clear distinction must be made between the things of God and those of men

Just like with Peter when he blasphemed the Son of man. It forgivable when the Son of man was still here.

The
moment he left this earth that possibility to forgive any man of blasphemy of the Son of man, as seen, also ended.

From my experience with Catholic they simply cannot believe that Peter did blaspheme God, not seen in respect the Son of man seen .

Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying,
Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.Mathew 16
The one-time demonstration of an actual work that had been finished from before the foundation of the world was finished before the outward demonstration. God pouring out his unseen Spirit. I emphasize he does not have flesh and blood, mere rudiments of this corrupted world. Again it was a onetime ""demonstration" of a work not seen.

Nothing That is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord! - Many people only quote "Nothing." But the Word stipulates "Nothing that is revealed in Christ Jesus Our Lord" - Thus, if we remain in Him nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God.

(Romans): Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say), “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.


38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
