It's ironic you mentioned the OT, there is two places mentioned in the whole bible that I know of were someone tore free from another person's hands leaving their garment and fleeing.
Gen 39:12

This may or may not have a symbolic gesture to the NT statement in Mark, but I do find them both quite interesting as in mentioning a person being grabbed and leaving a garment behind.
It's google. But a friend put it on for me to translate at the same time I write. Although sometimes it fails or does not convince me at all and I have to use the normal google.
Why you want to look at other gospels and compare it with the Bible would not be a wise idea. Stick with the Bible and do not worry about other false gospels that can not save you.

Take this is an example of kindness of the religion of peace. If you think the devil is a red guy with horns, you better stop trying to interpret the Bible like that. The Koran says that the Imam Mahdi will come from the heavens as the apocalypse says and then defeat the Dajjah with the help of Jesus Christ. After this Jesus Christ will kneel before the Imam Mahdi. If you think that this is not Satanic, and that Imam Mahdi is not the Devil that the Apocalypse talks about, I think you need a lot of interpretation then.

almost everything, if not actually everything we see in the NT has a counterpart in the OT, and vice versa. it all testifies of Christ, what's foreshadowed before is revealed in Him -- i think it's not even ironic to look back to the OT about things we wonder about in the NT; it should be natural.
post's wife is often complaining about people forgetting and not teaching from the OT, almost treating them like they are separate scriptures with the former being irrelevant. she has a point IMO
i think studying the typology of Christ throughout the OT is enormously beneficial, and what we ought to be doing & looking for with everything in the NT.

It seems that the Antichrist is not just one individual Bishop of Rome (BoR), but all the Caesars and Bishops of Rome. According to the iron of the statue in Daniel 2.
The iron is a nation that rules over Israel beginning at the invasion of Israel in 63 bc.. The head of that iron nation is Caesar until 476 ad and then the BoR of the RCC/Vatican, yes/no?
