If you are living at home, do as they say. Otherwise, move out, and establish your independence. That is what adults do.

Hmmm well the Bible says to honor parents. That's a given, no matter who your parents are, what they are, where you live, or whatever. In fact, it's the first commandment with a promise, and it made it into the ten. Anyways. For more particular advice, we'd have to know more about your particular situation.

How old are you?
Are you living with them? (if not, how far away are you living?)
Are you/they Christian?
What about your relationship is difficult?
How would you like to see it improve, and most importantly, are you willing to change to see that improvement happen?

I went through all that difficulty and pain, so I know where you're coming from. You don't have to answer any of the above questions, btw :).
