It actually is easy to find out that Calvinism is a man made doctrine speaking against the Holy Spirit. Those five verses should be enough.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17

Hmmm... I think I'll wake up today and start dissension!

The other calvinism threads weren't meeting that need?

I know right, I always think of 1 Cor 3:3-9 when I see threads like this, or about certain teachers.

3for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way? 4For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely human?
5What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. 6I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. 7So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. 8He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. 9For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

And calvinists can post another 5 verses destroying your arminianism.

Picking up some verses is not enough for a good theology.

are we going to discuss if we are here because we cannot help ourselves?

or are we going to discuss how we thought we would drop in for a moment?

I agree that calvinism is not biblical, and is a man-made doctrine.

Calvinism is a man made doctrine.

But that doctrine comes from the bible.

To say Calvinism is not biblical is just to be ignorant of what the bible says.

You could say Calvinism isn't biblical according to your opinion of what you think the bible says. But what you think the bible says probably has dissenters as well.

(is dissenters a word?)

OK so, according to this way of thinking, when satan used scriptures to tempt Jesus in the desert, you would say he's biblical? Because I always considered "biblical" to mean "scriptural, and correct context, and true to the big picture."

No, but I am saved because God I knew I would choose him, not because he forced me to believe
So it was certain you will choose Him before you was even born and therefore before you did anything?
