You are ludicrous ignoring the fact that Daniel states it is closed until the end times. Revelation is written in symbolic language like Daniel is as well. Theologians for centuries have puzzled over the eschatological portions of scripture. As a result they have come up with 4 seperate Biblical views of eschatology. You seem to think you know better than those theologians. Methinks you need to pull your head out of your nether orifice.

End times (eschatology)
Here are 4 different links to the 4 theological Biblical views of eschatology.

This is because Daniel and Revelation are written in symbolic language. Daniel plainly states it is closed until the end times. Revelation is written the same way so it too is closed.

Well, it must be the end times because some of us do have an understand Daniel and Revelation.

KJV Daniel 7
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Methinks you are reading into it only what you want see. Ignoring Daniel states in 2 places an angel of God told him the book is closed until the end times. Read the whole book not your selected portion that contrary to the book itself you think you understand it.

OK, then just name one of those verses that say he will be Islamic.
Take a look at Ezekiel 38-39. The nations mentioned there are all Islamic today. Some people interpret some of them as Russia and Germany. But that would be incorrect. Most of them are nations in Turkey, Iran, and the Islamic 'stan' countries to the north, and countries in Northern Africa.

"The Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge, citing ancient Assyrian writings, places the location of Magog in the land mass between ancient Armenia and Media - in short, the Republics south of Russia and north of Israel, comprised of Azerbajian, Afghanistan, Turkestan, Chechnya, Turkey, Iran and Dagestan. Significantly, all of them are Muslim nations."

Look at Psalm 83, every nation mentioned there is Islamic today...

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

For centuries several scholars believed Isaiah 14 says the anti-Christ would be an Assyrian.

The "Wicked Counsellor in the book of Nathan has long been accepted as the anti-Christ who emerges from Nineveh, the ancient capital city of Assyria.

Nahum says about Nineveh in verse 11...

"There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor."

The Assyrian anti-Christ is found in Isaiah 10, 14, 30, and Micah 5. This passage tells us the area the anti-Christ will originate.

Nineveh is the ancient capital city of the Assyrian Empire. It is said that this ancient city has produced the world's first dictator. Mesopotamia literally means “between the rivers,” (Acts 7:2-4). This area is the same area where the anti-Christ is mentioned in Isaiah, and the same area Nineveh resided, and the same place Saddam Hussein was born, "between the rivers."

Finis Dake, Arthur Pink, E.W Bullinger, and Benjamin Newton, and many others all believed that the end-time anti-Christ would be an Assyrian and come from Babylon just like Nebuchadnezzar and Antiochus Epiphanes did. That was the theory most people accepted even before the reformation.

The Assyrian anti-Christ is found in Isaiah 10, 14, 30, and Micah 5, and a few other tidbits here and there. He is the rod of God's anger against Israel in the end. This is the man God uses to bring Israel back to Him just before Christ returns.

In order to do this right, I would have to start a thread because it is a bit lengthy.

Where is the third temple that is supposed to be built on the site of the first and second temple. They have excavated that site finding the spring, the alter and a channel for the blood to flow in. No temple there so end times is not yet. The abomination that causes desolation takes place in the rebuilt temple. Where is it!!

Find me a branch of Christianity that has a perfect record. In addition keep in mind what Jesus told those who were Going to stone the prostitute. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Seems to me you get great joy casting verbal stones.
The Catholic's have been dumped on by the Protestants for decades because of their horrible past. Calvin has a horrible past, even beheading Children. I have no love for Calvinism.

You asking me for scripture and saying the book is closed. How then can you come to the conclusion you making yourself. The images of the dream of Neburcassar is the history from the days of Daniel unto the end of days when Jesus will setup His kingdom. The head of gold represents Babylon, arms and chest of silver presents Medes and Persians, thighs and breast of brass present Greece and the legs of iron is Rome and then the divided world by the iron and clay which do not mixed. Now Daniel 7 give us more details. The lion with the wings is also referring to Babylon. The bear with the three ribs in mouth represents the Medes and Persians again, the Leopard with four wings is referring to Greece or Alexander the great which conquered the world in the quickest time and the fourth beast the terrible beast with the iron teeth like in chapter 2 of Daniel is referring to Rome yet again.

What does it mean when Daniel says it is sealed? Can you explain?

I question everyone's beliefs. What I know is what I derive from my research, and I do have a hermeneutic.
I can't help it if there are dozens of prophetic views, Mine are my own. Hey, let me show you a few...

Suicide bombers...

The locust of Rev. 9 has long been associated with Muslims. That's where suicide bombers are found.

Revelation 9:16-17 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

Revelation 9 tells us about the Arabs and suicide bombers and how many jihadist there are in the world when the prophecy passes! The 'sweet to the taste' but bitter to the belly' LITTLE BOOK of Revelation 10 is all about the Koran. In Revelation 11, John is instructed to measure the Temple but to leave out the outer court. That's about the Dome of the Rock, and the Two Witnesses who will witness in the area of the Temple Mount.

I can expound on these things if you like.

Daniel's dream describes a little horn that arises from among the ten horns of the fourth terrible beast. The little horn power represents the Antichrist and is described in Daniel's dream with great detail so that we can clearly identify who this end-time enemy will be. Since we don't want to make any mistake, it is essential that we correctly identify this power.
Daniel 7 gives us very precise identifying features of the horn, and every single one must apply in order to make an accurate identification possible. The 13 features are as follows:

1. It arose out of the fourth beast.
2. It came up among the ten horns.
3. It came up after the ten horns had been established.
4. It was to uproot three horns.
5. It was to be greater than the others.
6. It was to be different than the others.
7. It was to have eyes like the eyes of a man and speak great words against God.
8. It was to make war on God's saints.
9. It would think to change times and laws.
10.The saints were to be handed over to it for a time and times and half a time.
11. It shall devour the whole earth.
12. It shall reign until the Ancient of Days comes.
13. Its dominion will be taken away.

The Antichrist power has to fulfill all of the characteristics given in the Bible. It cannot meet only some of them. Thirteen times in the above points, we see how the papal system qualifies for all the identifying points of the little horn power of Daniel 7, as sad and shocking as it may seem. It is essential that we realize that the Bible is not dealing with individuals, but with a religious and political system that for more than 1500 years has claimed the power to control the planet’s conscience. Moreover, for a set time, it had power to enforce its decrees and to persecute all who chose to obey God and His Word.
The Bible is dealing with a power that is misusing its position, and presuming to take the very place of God. Individuals are responsible to God for the light they live up to. In condemning the system, God is not condemning the individuals within the system who are living up to light they have and long to have a relationship with Him.

There is only one system that meets all the identifying features listed in Daniel chapter 7, and this is the Papacy.
I would recommend that each person prayerfully study the Scriptures, asking guidance from God, and follow Paul’s example:
And [Paul] trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? (Acts 9:6).

You can claim it's the papacy, but where's the conclusive evidence? NOT one verse of prophecy mentions Rome. There are dozens that mention Islamic countries.

You can't convince me that Rome meets all those features. That's a pipe dream. I can say the fourth beast of Daniel 7 is America, and I don't have any conclusive evidence for it. Show me the evidence!

The prophecy of the bible is of no private interpretation. The bible should explain itself. And what is your interpretation of the statue of the dream of Daniel 2 and 7? I would like to hear that.

Sealed means closed. However we are already living in the time of the End. In the end of the reformation all the reformers came to the same conclusion that the papacy represents the apostate church. And in the late 1700 and early 1800 the church was interested in the study of Bible prophecy again. All different brethren from around started studying the books of prophecy Daniel and Revelation and came to the conclusion that Jesus was returning and started to proclaim the second coming of Christ. And the little book you referring to in Revelation is the great disappoint where the church believed Christ will return in 1844 and Christ didn't come. That was the event that started the time of the End. And knowledge increased around the prophetic books as told by Daniel

I need to ask. Where is it said a temple needs to be built or rebuilt for these prophecies to pass.

The need of another temple is a misinterpreted blunder.

I would suggest you study the chapter 2 and chapter 7 of Daniel.

In Bible prophecy, because the books of Daniel and Revelation is written in symbolic language so the actual names of the nations or country will not be mentioned. God won't reveal such secrets to His enemies because all through there were people opposing God. So God had to give it in symbolic languages that persons won't corrupt the meaning of the prophecy. In order to understand prophecy. You need a good understanding of the old testament. Because lots of the old testament termology is used. And as you study prophecy, you should look at bible and compare it with history in order to make sense.

The prophecy of the bible is of no private interpretation. The bible should explain itself. And what is your interpretation of the statue of the dream of Daniel 2 and 7? I would like to hear that.
I suppose I can do this before I go to bed. The commonly accepted view of Daniel 2 is, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome.

I consider 2 and 7 major interpretational blunders by the majority of Christians. Most important, Daniel 7 IS NOT a repeat of Daniel 2. I know that's what most believe but that is easily proven wrong.

In Daniel 2, Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon is the head of gold. After Babylon...

Daniel 2:39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
Most people believe that Medo-Persia is the arms of silver or the, 'inferior kingdom.' However, the only thing said about the second kingdom is that it's inferior to Babylon. What kingdom was inferior to Babylon? Was Medo-Persia the inferior kingdom? Absolutely not! The Median Empire was not only much smaller it was also short lived.

The word inferior is the word "arah" which means earth, world, and ground and is only used once in the OT where's the adverb 'below' is attached to it. The word inferior means LAND. Gesenius says, "the ground, and adverb below, inferior. The interlinear uses the word, 'earthward'. So if inferior means land, that rules out the Medo-Persian empire as the second empire since it was about three times the size of Babylon. It wasn't 'land inferior' to Babylon. The Median Empire was not only short-lived but it was also much smaller making it the inferior kingdom.

In both Greek and Hebrew inferior means,
to make less,
inferior,
to fall short,
below

In Isaiah 13, God says He would stir up the Medes against Babylon. Not the Persians!

Daniel 5 quotes Darius the Mead as the one who "took" Babylon at the age of 62. Not Cyrus like the secularist would have you believe.

Daniel, Isaiah's, and Jeremiah's prophecies ascribe the conquest and destruction of Babylon to the Medes.

Daniel 5:31
"And Darius the Median took the kingdom, (Babylon) being about threescore and two years old."

Isaiah 13:17
"Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, ie.(Babylon)

Jeremiah 51:11 Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance
of his temple.
That means Rome is not the legs of iron, Greece is.

The fourth kingdom, symbolized by the legs of iron, (Greece) and it's end-time offspring, "the toes mingled with iron and clay", doesn't come from Rome but from the Grecian Empire. That's in accord with Daniel 8's little horn which is said to come from the realm of GRECIA, and Daniel 11:2.

The word mixed that describes the toes mingled with iron and clay is the Aramaic word "arab." It means mixed and it denotes an Arabian or Arabia. (Gesenius) I would like to know how people associate this word with ROME, ITALY

http://www.bluelette...ngs=H6151&t=KJV

Daniel 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

This doesn't seem to matter to those who have labeled the iron and clay as 'Roman." Why would God use the word 'arab' to describe an Italian?

Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar much more about the iron and clay than the other kingdoms because it depicts the end-time kingdom that the Lord returns to destroy. The word mixed actually describes the people, the origin, and the geographical area from which the end-time anti-Christ would arise. The Islamic Arab Middle-East.

Daniel 7

Daniel 7:1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

Daniel chapter 7 was written about 35 years after Daniel's vision of the great statue in chapter 2. It was written in the first year of Belshazzar who was the last king of Babylon. (I can explain something about that) Chapter 7 depicts four end-time beast, and it isn't a historical repeat of chapter 2. Why would God find it necessary to repeat in two different visions by the same author, the same sequence of kingdoms of Daniel 2 in chapter 7? Were there shortcomings in Daniel 2 that required repetition?

Interpreters say that the Lion of Daniel 7 is Babylon.

How can the lion be Babylon when the date of the vision occurred in the first year of Belshazzar who was the last king of Babylon? The Babylonian Empire had already risen some 50 years before and was on it's way out when Daniel 7 was written! Why would Daniel prophesy about a kingdom that was already in existence for about 50 years and soon to end? Some atheist have actually caught onto this blunder and used it to debunk the bible by calling Daniel a false prophet which he would certainly be, since he prophesied about something already in existence.

Most interpreters think that the vision of wings being plucked off and the heart of a man given to it refers to Nebuchadnezzar going mad and being restored 7 years later. That's unlikely since that happened about 20 years before Daniel had the vision! AGAIN! Daniel cannot prophesy about something that already occurred! The lion could certainly be today's Iraq.

All four empires in Daniel 7 are end-time empires.

These four beast are figurative of 4 end time kingdoms competing to dominate the region around the Mediterranean. The word before in 7:7 says that this beast "was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns."

The Hebrew word for "before" in this text is ‘qodam’ which means "in front of, in the presence of, not "historically before" as is commonly interpreted. This means the first three empires will be in the presence of (or stand before) the anti-Christ kingdom when it emerges. They are all end-time kingdoms.

Goodnight!

What is your conclusion on the second kingdom after Babylon? I see that there is one word which throw you out 'inferior kingdom'. My take would be that Babylon is was a kingdom of gold. And Medes made use of silver in their kingdom. And in this instance silver is an inferior metal than compared to gold.

(Acts 9:6).

The arms of silver is the kingdom of the Medes. The word 'inferior' is the word 'land' with the word inferior attached implying 'less land'. The Medo-Persian empire was about 3-4 times the size of Babylon which indicates it's NOT inferior kingdom or the arms of silver. Only the Median kingdom can be labeled as the 'inferior kingdom.' That means the thighs of bronze/brass is the Persians. Besides that the bible quotes Darius and the Medes as the ones who took out Babylon.
