If someone who says they are saved but is committing adultery, every weekend. Goes home and pray for forgiveness, but goes and does it the next weekend. Do you think that they are serious about their salvation. When they get serious the sin must stop. Other wise everybody will be saved. The drunk on the corner is saved. So I guess he is also under grace. God forbid. The intentional sinning has to stop, they know it's wrong, but say I'm under grace God know we do this, he will forgive us. You may as well be crucifying Jesus all over again.
You are showcasing people's false understanding of grace and then trying to use it to enforce legalism.
People came at Paul with these same false notions about grace, find the right understanding of being under grace and then go and help these people get it right too, the problem with sin is that it is destructive, grace is the antidote to sin not its excuse.
