This was very close to home and nationally covered.
Prayers in Jesus Name for comfort, healing and restoration for all involved would be greatly appreciated.
"Local paper says his uncle states he was always a good boy, never in trouble, no drinking, no drugs, he doesn't look like a drinker or drug user either. He says he blanked out, came to and her body was in his trunk, here headphones were in his lap.
No one sins without first being "enticed" to sin, then giving in to it.
If we are truly Christian, that is what our scripture tells us so it must be true, he must have been enticed to sin, to take her, then he gave the adversary the right to come in and lead him to do what he did. We know Jesus didn't guide him to do so.
The Mass of Resurrection will be at BGM school auditorium this Sunday , August 26, at 2 P.M.
A great time to pray for the healing, comfort, and restoration of all impacted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to U of I Stead Family Childrens Hospital, mailed in care of Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 368 , Grinnell , Iowa, 50112
Memories and condolences may be shared with Mollie's family online at www.smithfh.com "

News worthy is one thing but a catholic funeral only serves to make this an even more tragic situation.

Pray for a gospel witness to the living family members.

I too wonder if this may have a been a factor in here disappearance and loss of life, the miscreant said he "blacked out" and came to as her headphones were in his lap and her body in his trunk, was he enticed by the adversary to do evil and walked into it allowing the enemy to take possession then released as the demon was through with him?
Mollie and many Catholics love the Savior and wish to do what He would have them do. So often we become what we were raised to become, and in many cases it is an outward form of godliness and/or a "religion" that tells us to go through the church decreed rituals and works, ignoring the vital , personal, relationship Jesus guides us to have.
She was a wonderful young lady, and I am praying Jesus hold her near Him and wipe away her hurt.
We can do that in Jesus Name.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather, openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.
I can't begin to imagine how the Tibbett's family and Mollie's friends feel during this time. My prayers and deepest sympathies surround them all.

Thank you friend, she worked at a day care center in the summer, those children got to know a wonderful young lady who was full of the love of Christ, they have been impacted at a very young age and cannot now look at life as a peaceful , stable, experience.
The adversary knows his time is short, the demons giving trouble in the earth today are the same ones that tormented in Christ's lifetime, they are very good at what they do.
Please keep in prayer for healing and restoration in Jesus Name.
Perhaps the numbness we feel at times like these are His provision
for us.
bless you

Neither do I, gave up tv over a year ago, I do however follow the scripture to bear one another's burdens and move in compassion
for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Internet and newspaper allow me to do so without paying to have the adversary come into my home.

the murderer led them to the site, I think there is a spiritual component to this, he says he "blacked out", sin is always led by an enticement to sin, when we walk into that enticement we give over to the adversary.
I am praying that Jesus hold her near Him and take away any pain and hurt , He will do so.

NEVER.. I don't pay attention to politics or any of that. Don't have cable tv.
You don't pay attention to the news or politics yet you say President Trump is an anti-Christ. On what do you base that statement? trump.jpg

So you would rather follow than lead?

Please everyone, let us respect Mollie Tibbetts memory and the grief her family and friends feel. Let us not assail her faith, because God's mercy supersedes our right to judge. And let us not derail this thread toward our personal opinions of anything at all.

Can we who were shown mercy by almighty Father fail to show mercy in empathy and compassion for a young lady who left this world suffering brutality we cannot imagine. Only to be discarded and lost to all who knew her for over a month?

Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Why would we then judge poor Mollie as if she never knew God or his grace simply because she was a Catholic in life. And a tragic victim of rape and murder after. God has mercy.
Do we not?

I didn't "know" her, I did see her around and know she was one of the very wonderful people G-d blessed the world with.
One of those you see and give a silent prayer of thanks to G-d for and ask His blessing upon her.
You will be wonderfully blessed when you see her on the other side.
