Please provide the Thread Title and the specific Post number submitted by me wherein I stated that "totally depraved sinners are good". Thank you.

Please provide the Thread Title and the specific Post number submitted by me wherein I stated "only the smartest will crack the code" and that "all of those humble, simple, small and weak will never work it out". Thank you.
That is your position, I'm only exposing your error to you and showing you that nobody can be saved according to your gospel.

You are dead wrong, David's heart didn't lead him to repentance. His heart led him to adultery and murder, God is the One who drew him to Himself. You really should study your Bible before you make false claims like this.
No point in correcting you as you already know everything.

OK, i get it you cherry pick some verses which you abuse to support your distorted view and ignore others which prove you wrong. Yeah, that's a great way to pervert the scriptures and make them say what ever you want them to say. every heretic does exactly that!!!
No distortion on my part.

No perverting the Scriptures on my part.

Why does it bother you so much to find that God's Word tells us that adulterers shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

If that is my position, you should be able to give the Thread Title and specific Post number submitted by me wherein I stated what you claim.

Otherwise, you are just lying.

Do you know what Scripture states concerning those who lie?

Well I demonstrated that one can make the Bible say whatever we want it to, so it all depends on what our position is on a particular issue. If we are trying to defend a false belief, we can use the scriptures to support our false view.

You quotes one portion of scripture which states that murdered and adulterers will not inherit the Kingdom of God and I came back with another portion which speaks about a murderer and adulterer who inherited a very special position in God Kingdom.

My point here is, context is everything when it comes to scripture. We need to understand the scriptures through the lens of the whole counsel of God. We need to consider the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation when making applications to isolated verses otherwise we can twist them to conform to any view we want.

From memory, I believe I was interpreting your belief that everyone has some good in them. I don't believe anyone has any good in them, the only good works we can do are those that God does through us.

So I asked how a totally depraved person can choose to surrender his will and his life over to God. A totally depraved person loves his sin, he will never choose to stop sinning and embrace a life of self denial and sacrifice his life for the sake of a God he doesn't believe in.

This is why we believe that salvation is the work of God, from start to finish. The only thing the saved person contributes is total depravity and wickedness, he is dead in his sin so a dead person cannot make a decision to be holy because it's against his nature. He hates God, so why would he choose to lose his life and serve Him.

Your "milk" and your "meat" is rancid. Perhaps you should get rid of it and actually start feeding on the Word of God.

1 Peter 2:

1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby

3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

S...,

Are you sure this is a correct conclusion?........consider the following;

Scripture states .....it is G-d's desire that none are lost;
If G-d draws us to Him then why wouldn't.... all.... be saved?
Also, you are eliminating......free will.......in your position.

Conclusion;...The Holy Spirit will help us as we apply efforts to repent and become righteous, but, He does not compel.......righteousness!!

Your thoughts?

That statement is absolutely correct. And as that statement applies to you, it means that you must rely on Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, and turn away from your calvinistic dogma.

All you did was post your usual twaddle with absolutely no Scripture to back up your position.

$120.000.00 per year, $10, 000 per month, to operate a mega structure can buy foreclosed tow homes in an area and open a prison ministry shelter & after-prison training and GED education center.
This is interesting, I'd like to know more about your thoughts on this.

Here's the issue with your POV. If it's so easy to miss the Scriptures. And as you say, 90% are going to hell for not understanding the Scriptures properly. How do you know for sure you're not one of them?

i know that I am one of the elect because I understand the scriptures perfectly well, while the hypocrites always twist and corrupt the Word of God. Everything I believe, perfectly lines up with scripture so that is proof that I am a true believer. There are many here who don't believe all the scriptures, they pick and choose only those that they can use to support their false beliefs.

I have given you hundreds of scriptures but you just ignore them because you don't believe all the scriptures. You pick the scriptures which you can twist and make them support your false views.
On Aug 30, 2018 you submitted a post (here) wherein you claimed a certain situation had occurred.

I replied in Post #2,375 and submitted Scripture in response to your claim.

Since then, we have been discussing the issue you initially brought up in your Post #2,358 and I provided a link to all your posts you submitted in our discussion (here). There is no Scripture submitted by you in your posts dealing with this issue.

For you to now claim "[you] have given [me] hundreds of scriptures" and then further claim "but [ I ] just ignore them because [ I ] don't believe all the scriptures" and that "[ I ] pick the scriptures which [ I ] can twist and make them support [my] false views" is nothing but a lie and is an ad hominem attack on your part.

Your inability to discuss in a mature manner is indicative of your inability to Scripturally support your dogma. Go back and study your Bible for a few more years and then re-join the discussion when you are able to deal with these issues in a Christ-like manner.

"Understanding the Word perfectly well.." IS there EVER such a thing? And understanding the Word but no relationship with it's "Author" is void...

I think I'll elect to leave Africa politics out of this.
Question: Why do you feel inclined to take personal jabs at people who hold different ideas than you do? And understand the scriptures differently?

The church of Christ is the body of faithful that therein make the body of Christ alive in what can be pictured as individual cells, due to the individual in faith, working as a unique unit with the leading and guidance of the indwelling holy spirit.
A church that roams the country wherein two or more are gathered in Jesus name can think globally and bless locally.

$120.000.00 per year, $10, 000 per month, to operate a mega structure can buy foreclosed tow homes in an area and open a prison ministry shelter & after-prison training and GED education center.

Gathering in groups? Sure. Each "cell" in the body has a home. We can share together by opening our doors to weekly meetings with one another. Each week someone gets to pay it forward.
And the monies raised within that church can help everyone that needs help. While we the body help ourselves with our job that keeps the roof over our heads. The lights on. And the food in our kitchen first and the body-church financed and supported food pantry second.

In the time of Jesus shepherds did not herd their flock into a large structure. Rather the shepherd led that flock about the countryside so that the sheep could be nourished from many sources. And in the course of that travel the sheep would bear fruit to the locals and from themselves.

We can learn quite a bit from sheep parables,
A congregation needs a place to meet. Therefore churches are built. A dynamic church will outgrow the facility often and needs a continuous building fund. Was an elder in one. The cost of running a large church is staggering. Mortgage payments, salaries of pastors and other staff, utilities, maintenance, etc. Then there are the committees for helping those in need. The church I went to was given 10% of the giving to the church plus donations to the committee. Often ran low but never out of money. God seemed to provide what was needed.

AMEN....but what does that have to do with the OP?
