Many of us weren't always Christians and decided to come to the Lord as adults. In my life music had a profound effect. What song or songs influenced you to come to the Lord?

I was raised in a Christian home, hopefully I’m allowed to be offering my two cents anyhow😁.

My favorites are amongst others “Are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb”, “I’ll fly away”, “What a Friend we have in Jesus”, “The old rugged Cross”, “When we all get to Heaven” and many more:).

Mom was RCC Dad was agnostic the kind of songs you mentioned I never heard of till after I was saved. I Catholic church in the 60s the songs were mainly in Latin, I didn't understand a word. Anti rock & roll Christians just get my goat because to some of us that's where we first started hearing the good news. Please don't misunderstand, I love the old standards, now that I recognize them but top 40 was all that I ever listened to till my late 20s. The important thing I was trying to bring out, no matter how politically incorrect it may seem. ISIAH 55 v 10 & 11, "The word of the lord never returns empty." and folks should realize that before they judge because God can make it work. Thank you for sharing.
