my point was. based on the pictures in her yearbook, she was a party girl. while I am in no way saying that any kind of anything done to a women without her consent is justified, being as it seems like she went to these parties often.

so, the media's making her out to be a innocent victim is a fraud. victim of something? maybe. innocent ? no way.
Then it is like I said, a fifteen year old should be under the watchful eye of her parents and that would stop the "going to parties often.":)

I particularly liked how her entire voice and facial expressions changed depending on who she was responding to

I also thought that the crowd at FOX was discussing who would win the emmy for the performance... ie. 'she is believable (according to who?) and if Kavanaugh doesn't show more emotion he won't be.' perhaps they will get Meryl Streep to play her in the movie. or is Meryl too old now?

the woman messed up in her answers. she is afraid of flying, yet has been here there and everywhere by plane. she did not understand she could have had the Senators fly out to CA to avoid having to get on a scary plane...yet correspondence between her lawyer and the GOP indicates she understood just fine. and several other tangled responses that she covered by looking puzzled and hurt.

as has been said, in the current atmosphere, all a woman has to do is say someone assaulted her in any way and it becomes what everyone remembers no matter the outcome of any actual attempt to get at the truth

I would also like to add at this time, that I think Booker and several others in his party should be taken on an excursion to the Himalayas to look for Shangri-La and not allowed to return until they have found it

Is she a Republican or Democrat? Odds say she is a Democrat. Thus, she would have much to gain by lying.

"Despite what is the truth"? Do you realize what you are saying? You are saying give in to anyone who can claim to have something on a candidate, whether true or not.

The Democrats have set a precedent. All you have to do is find someone willing to claim a crime against them them by the candidate. Thus everything is on hold and you may as well dismiss the candidate. If you allow this, then this is now the norm. You can expect it to occur with every Supreme Court nomination.

Best to find out the truth, and then punish those who have willingly engaged in this illegal activity of finding an accuser for the purpose of destroying the candidate.

Well, do you think the SCOTUS is best served with a Justice associated with his reputation in the judiciary, or, a Justice associated with dr. Ford?

What say you, Mr Quantrill?

'associated'? Now all you do is to 'associate' someone with someone else or something? All you know is Kavanaugh's reputation as a judge. Correct?

Which means she has all the reason in the world to lie and try and stop Kavanaugh's appointment.

You’re dodging my question using circular reasoning.

Please answer the question.

I did answer your question. All you know is Kavanaugh's reputation as a judge. Therefore, you should want him appointed. Unless, he is guilty of knowing a Miss Ford. As I said, is that what you are saying?

I don't see any circular reasoning in that. I see good sense in that.

No, you keep on dodging.

Furthermore you don’t seem to realize that this is not merely about the judge and/or his reputation. It is about the court.

The court doesn’t need a justice where a significant number of people, rightfully or not, have doubts about his moral standards. After all, he is candidate for the SCOTUS, he’s not trying to get elected dog catcher.

Like it or not, mud slinging works more often than not, and Mr Kavanugh has just fell victim to it.

Just because someone slings mud means nothing. As I said, you know nothing about Kavanaugh except that he has been a credible judge.

Again, I can't believe what you are saying. 'Rightfully or not'? That means no one will ever again be appointed a judge. All the other side has to do is find some one to sling some mud...rightfully or not. Stupid.

Years ago I had a lawyer lie in an affidavit in a "case" I was involved in - he lied to cover his arse.

Ford has nothing to gain by lying.

Kavanaugh has.
Except the go fund me page in her name that as of this morning has north of $700,000 and climbing..........

did anyone think she was a fund raiser for Pres Trump? :eek:o_O:rolleyes:

the party of equality and love (paid for by people work for a living and pay taxes) are already undermining the 7TH FBI investigation which anyone with half a noodle knew would happen

while the Booker team is advancing upon the Himalayas, they should request Flake as their tour guide, if he can make up his mind what to wear for the occasion

I wonder what it would have looked like if the woman had been the one to be voted on?

I can take some guesses.

you are right

what is needed, is a thorough investigation of who messed up the process that ensured that people's lives were thrown into the lion's den of social media and foaming at the mouth dems who throw blood on the water and call in the sharks

if things had been done according to protocol, the dems would not be having this cro-magnon festival of beating on their chests and proclaiming the GOP are crooked and evil and bipartisan and all the other things the dems actually are. THAT is the actual travesty here and so conveniently overlooked while they flaunt Ford all over the news.

oh for sure mud slinging works when you give it to biased media and tell them to run with it

I don't see Kavanaugh as the victim here. I see that the duly elected President is stymied at every opportunity while the other side plays a game and counts the illegals streaming in so they can play the numbers time in Nov and beyond

the GOP will never be able to satisfy the dems because they do not want to be satisfied.

well you just brought attention to the double edged sword

see the perfect plan?

it becomes who cares if he is innocent. it's too late now. if anyone watched the shenanigans on Thurs, Kavanaugh made that crystal clear he knows it and so does anyone who understands the way the left operates

I do not have the biggest respect for the GOP either...but one thing the dems have going..they all stick together and that is their strength

you would think the other side would wake up and take a look at the clock

I NEVER said otherwise.....but it is the Dems in question and without a doubt the Dems by the embracement of murdered babies, gay rights etc. are the greater of two evils.....!!
