I have been thinking about the Characters in the bible, and about Jesus, alot here lately. I have been feeling claustrophobic and lonely at the same time. I realized even Jesus had to get away from the crowds sometimes. We all need a break and to recharge.
My dream Get-Away would be some place full of majestic beauty. ( eye of the beholder I know) I would love to go somewhere in the mountains, with alot of trees, lakes, rivers, and water falls. I love water falls. Go explore every trail, go canoeing on one of the rivers, taking photos of the beauty around me, cook over a fire, sit around the fire in the even w/ coffee in hand watching sunset, then star gazing. LOL sadly I could live like that my whole life. A cabin even a tent ( for the Get- Away ) would suit me just fine. I feel so close to God out there. No interruption, or detraction when talking to him. So peaceful, calm and relaxing. No schedules, no watching the clock, no traffic. Pure Joy for me.
I have been looking at some of Oregon, I am close enough and plenty of waterfalls, even the ocean. I have never been there. Nor seen the Giant Redwoods God made. Standing beside one would probably made me feel like an ant
Being out in nature opens my eyes to how big God is, reminds me, he is not in a little box I used to put him in, in my everyday life.
