This Thread is for posting Scriptures that touch your heart, or you believe touch the hearts of others, even the unsaved.
I know that we could say that all Scripture does this, but we all have certain ones we find more precious to us I believe.
Psalms 51:10 - Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
This is one I like, one of many, but one to start with.
This request by David is echoed in the New Testament in several places, and points to our "rebirth" in Christ.

Touching the heart would seem to represent as a synonym of the work of the Spirit of Christ working in the believer to both will and perform His good pleasure as a imputed righteousness.(Philipians 2:12) It is needed to work out the free gift of our new faith.
In Job 23 it seem to be the method of God uses to soften our hard hearts as the kind of spiritual food the disciples at first knew not of..... our daily bread ..thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the
words of his mouth (daily bread) more than my necessary food. But
he is in
one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth. For
he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things
are with him. Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him. For
God maketh my
heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:Job 23:12-16
It becomes learning what it means to mix faith in what we hear which must be the faith of Christ that works in us by which we can believe Him not seen. When and if we do mix the faith that comes from hearing God we have entered his rest the softening work of Christ.
Just the idea that God lives in these bodies of death and does the work appointed to us should cause our hearts to humble in adoration of Him who, does make our hard hearts softer when we do believe the hearing of faith.
Two kinds of Sabbaths one ceremonial as a shadow and the other our daily effectual rest, the work of the Spirit softening of our hearts.
For unto us was the
gospel preached, as well as unto them: but
the word preached did not profit them,
not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.For we which
have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and
they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of
unbelief: (no faith) Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said,
To day if ye will hear his voice,
harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.Hebrews 4:2-8
