I want to sleep but I just can't.

I keep thinking of all the ways Christians tend to be even worse than unbelievers.

Those thousands of kids, abused by over 300 priests… And all of it was covered up…

I don't want these people to just repent. I want them to BEG and PLEAD to both God and their victims for their LIVES!!! I want them to feel a thousand tons of PAIN!!! I want them feel the full force of the evil of their sin, feel it until they literally BEG for MERCY!!!

I'm dead serious! Jesus said that those who harm kids would be better of DROWNED and DEAD!!!

And if they don't repent…I hope that when Judgment Day comes, that they will FRY. I hope they BURN! I hope they ROT in HELL! I hope they feel the full force of God's WRATH and HELLFIRE ad infinitum!!!

Stuff like this, knowing that Christians truly are no different, and are in fact worse, than unbelievers, and being powerless to do anything about it.

That makes me ANGRY! It makes me FURIOUS! It fills me with RAGE! And I don't care if I'm "bashing" the church or any overly sensitive nonsense. It's not MY fault that the truth is UGLY as EFF!!!

I don't call myself a Christian anymore. I'm not ashamed of Christ, but I am ASHAMED, I am DISGUSTED by those who claim the same allegiance to my God!

It's time we finally accept this world as it is, Christians: Cruel, unfair, insufferable, hopeless, meaningless, depraved, immoral, evil, merciless, wicked, hateful, murderous, life-sucking, soul-stealing, a haven for reprobates, murderers, molesters, thieves, terrorists, sadists, and a bunch of other names I'm not allowed to call them on this forum.

Unbelievers are RIGHT to be repulsed by us! We have done nothing but blasphemed God by living wicked lives with selfish and self-serving behaviors and attitudes disguised as a religious "piety." We ought to be ASHAMED!!!

On my profile here I checked "unsure" where it asks if you're a christian for some of the same reasons you mentioned. They can be very insensitive, judgemental, cruel and prideful. I too believe in Christ but not so much in the christian laity in general. Jesus himself was falsely blamed, beaten, accused, mocked and crucified by others including many of the jewish leaders who were supposed to be praising his arrival. The apostle Paul tortured, imprisoned and killed christians before Christ appeared to him. The bible says the world will be worst than the days of Noah when Jesus returns so it shouldn't really be a surprise that there is so much wrongdoing in the world and that society is becoming more wicked than ever. It's already been written. But it's also written that there will always be a remnant of God's people who will still remain faithful and will try to set a good example.

I just remembered that I heard a story about a woman who like you was very angered and distraught over things that the church was doing and she prayed about it in church because it disturbed her so much that was about to give up going to church. She said she then heard a voice she believes was God whisper to her, "My people are not perfect, but I am."

Now, tell us how you really feel.

If you don't call yourself a Christian, what do you call yourself?

She explained that it meant that she should not abandon her church just because the people in it are doing wrongful things.

And how might unbelievers feel seeing God's people wish vengenance and death and hell with a furious hatred and an unwillingness to forgive, even if God forgives? Is it possible that, in your anger, you have also become the very thing you speak so angrily against? Thus making your anger self serving and not righteous? All while raining down judgment on the heads of even those undeserving of such condemnation?
Even Gods anger can be given over to mercy and forgiveness. Traits you yourself are flatly refusing to others.
So I'm afraid I'm not seeing the Godliness in you, in this message, that you criticize is lacking in others.

Well, first of ALL it is an error to assume they were Christian......second....I know MANY Catholics and they ALL, to a MAN, will say vehemently that they are CATHOLIC and not Christian......and without a doubt....the Catholic dogma embraced and spewed by priests around the world is predominantly anti-Christian......

a. The worship of a man as God <-pope
b. The worship of Mary
c. The worship of statues, hair and nail clippings, bones, statues
d. The right to pay for sin (indulgences)
e. Sacramental salvation
f. Church salvation
g. A priest can absolve sin
h. The Pope makes saints
i. Baptismal regeneration
j. Sprinkling as baptism
k. The murder of 60 to 80 million during dark ages in a forced conversion to Catholicism
l. Breeding child abuse by ignoring the qualifications of a bishop <--husband of ONE WIFE
m. Lord's supper actually turning into flesh and blood
etc....

I can go ALL day....they do not represent Christ on this earth.

If you are interested in watching some videos about a particular area of conspiracy theories, let me know and I'll PM a link to you. There's a lady's channel on YouTube that discusses the Freemasons and the Illuminati and how her family is a part of it. She claims to be a Christian who left the group, but she was raised up in it. Again, let me know. Out of respect I'd only share it in a PM with anyone who is interested, so you have to tell me on here before I let you PM me so I can send you the link in a PM response.

There's a deeply emotional reply that I'd like to add, but I'm afraid it's too risky. Not sure how to go about it.

No reply needs to be presented in an emotional way . . . emotions are risky, and often misinterpreted. It is best to deal with the facts as they are which is why our arguments should be couched in Scripture. In other words, a confident "thus saith the Lord' is world's better than a 'this is how I feel.'

Then it's likely you won't understand me if I have to quote Scripture in order to tell you a piece of the "story" that is my life.

Guess this means I'll PM it to someone who wants to know about it instead of posting it in here....

Regarding the OP, all the more reason that real Christians need to
stand up and be counted. Names without reality or action don’t mean a
thing.

I could call myself a billionaire, it doesn’t make it true.

The Catholic Church have always had serious issues. True Christians
won’t touch it.

When you said ‘worse than Noah’s days’ i felt a relief because in right judgement IT COULD BE WORSE. So Jesus is coming.

Oh, I'm so sorry I had to remind you that God is not the great granddaddy in the sky.

I'm sorry I had to remind you of the God that sent a flood throughout the world and spared only Noah because he was righteous in a wicked and violent world.

I'm sorry I had to remind you of God sending ten horrific plagues to Egypt, just because the poor Pharaoh wouldn't let them go.

I'm sorry I had to remind you of God hurting Pharaoh's poor widdle feewings by taking away his firstborn son. You know, as a way to say, "You took away my firstborn sons, now I'm going to take away yours."

I'm sorry I had to remind you of the God who commanded all of the righteous Israelites to kill those who participated in building the golden calf.

I'm sorry I had to remind you of the God who called for Achan's death. You know, Achan, the guy who took something from a city the Israelites plundered even though God told them not to?

I'm sorry I had to remind you of all the wicked and evil nations God commanded the Israelites to put to the sword. And deemed King Saul unrighteous because he wouldn't carry out this punishment against the child-sacrificing Amalekites.

I'm sorry I had to remind you of God judging the Israelites, his own chosen people, his wife according to the Old Testament (Does that sound familiar?), what with their silly violent ritual sacrificing of babies, and temple orgies, and treating widows and orphans and slaves like trash, and whoring around with idolatrous nations. And God had the audacity to send the prophets to them to scold them. Not just that, but he sent those evil Assyrians to plunder and enslave them, to burn their beloved Jerusalem to the ground, all because that tyrannical God simply wouldn't let Israel be happy and do whatever she wanted.

I'm sorry I had to remind you of Jesus calling the Pharisees all sorts of awful names because they were hypocrites of the worst kind, and they were not much different from a lot of Catholic Priests throughout history.

I'm sorry I had to remind you of Jesus flipping over the poor money lenders' tables and taking a whip to them (what we now call assault and battery) daring to get angry at them for extorting people in God's name (Again, not unlike the Catholic Church throughout history).

I'm sorry I had to remind you of God setting up this ridiculous trial when he returns called Judgment Day, where he tosses all evildoers and irredeemable killmongers and people who get joy out of causing horrific pain in the pit of hellfire and doom with Satan, all because those poor people's names weren't written in the Book of Life.

:cry::cry::cry:

No, I'm not sorry. I believe in a God who is every bit as just as he is merciful.

I believe in a God who will give everyone their just due when he returns.

I believe in a God who is repulsed by and burning in his wrath against such vile child rapists who get great fun out of doing it.

I believe in a God who got furious when the Catholic Church declared a pointless series of Holy Wars, tortured Jews and Muslims, and steeped themselves in misogyny in the form of witch hunts (burning even pregnant women and their babies).

I believe in a God who got furious at Protestants who encouraged and endorsed slavery, and treating people of color like garbage, and stealing their land, and preferring the institution to people by covering up child abuse, and demanding people just forgive their rapists, and telling a battered and bruised wife to stay with her abusive husband because, after all, the church and marriage are much more important than the people involved and must be protected at all costs.

I believe in a God who gets angry at sin, who gets furious at heinous, evil, Satan-inspired acts, who meant what he said when he said child abusers are better off drowned, who meant what he said when we should shun unrepentant sinners and turn them over to Satan, who meant what he said when he said violating anyone (man, woman, or child) is violating him.

I believe in a God whose anger and fury burns passionately against such sorry excuses for human beings. And I look forward to these people being shown for the monsters they are and for people to finally stare evil in the flesh. Sometimes it takes looking at sin in its ugliest, most diabolical form in order to take it seriously.

and we can never overcome such cowardance, never
