Yes, its OK:

"Therefore concerning the eating of the things sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing...food will not commend us to God; neither if we should eat do we come short...
1 Cor 8

No, its not OK:

"That what is sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? Rather, that what the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. And I do not want you to be fellow partakers with demons."
1 Cor 10

"teaching and misleading My servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols..."
Rev 2:20

----

And a smaller question, how is the weak brother destroyed?

...for the one being weak is destroyed through your knowledge." 1 Cor 8

No its not OK. Jesus in the book of Revelation condemns it.

1 Corinthians 8 does not teach you should eat meat sacrificed to idols, that would make Paul contradict himself in later chapters and the Jerusalem council and Jesus in Revelation!
John Chrysostom has a great exposition of this, check it out trofimus im sure you would be interested in it.
First part of it is HERE and you can find more in the website.

It is not okay. Paul makes an exception...if you do not know. He allows for eating a feast or shopping in the market without asking questions.

All of us go to Chinese restaurants and enjoy a great meal even though we see the big statue of Buddha in the foyer with all the trinkets of Buddhism draped about and all the coins in the little pool. What? are we then ignorant of the fact that the Chinese are worshiping there and asking the statue to bless their business.

So it's wrong to eat Chinese food . . . so what.

"And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man" (Mark 7:18-23).

The only real problem with Chinese food is that you are only going to be hungry again an hour later and those fortune cookies never come true!

Been to any pagan feasts lately then?
Have you had a kebab, lately? But almost all meat in the UK and other western countries is halal.

Have your chidren played a PC game with demons, magic, gods or occultism in it, lately?

This issue is much more actual then 50 years ago.

Yup video games with occultism are everywhere.

And also unfortunately most meat is halal meat. I never eat halal meat, UNLESS its fed to me without me knowing. But knowingly I wouldn't eat it. And even if the Bible did allow it, I STILL wouldnt buy it, why? Because I dont want to SUPPORT through financial means that kind of 'ideology'

Many people do not want to buy halal meat because they do not want to support islam. But only few know that the halal meat is actually ritually sacrificed to Allah, with prayers while the animal is bleeding out.

No. Just turn yourself, your kids, and the meat over to the authorities for shoplifting.

The Bible is not confusing as people think, Paul clarified this, t goes into a man does not defile him but what comes out. It is not a sin to eat meat sacrificed to idols, but Jesus came to give mankind a great gift and that gift is "conscience" don't eat for conscience sake, if you are offered a meat by someone who serves idol, it is just a meat, you shouldn't ask questions for conscience sake, just eat. But if you asked and you are told where the meat came from, do not eat "for if eaten a meat would cause your brother to fall, do not eat" .
